Stories from the SpeakEC (25 Viewers)

I structured the event using the same structure as the seniors event (since most of us are over 50). I made the blind levels 30 min instead of 60, but added 10k to the starting stacks (30k instead of 20k). Blinds start at 100/100/100. Event should last between 10-12 hours.

Look at this guy waiting to pounce on tilted tourney players

To all the PCFers attending the WSOP event; please be prepared for a cash game to break out after you bust out of the tournament :ninja:
So is there a cash game?
@Highli99 said this competition was beneath him, and got scared .. or something else like that.
Haha I am the sucker in your big tournament fields. It’s really hard to fold that much, but a few of the players have the ability.

Actually, my issue is my wife’s family is hosting a surprise 90th birthday for her great uncle at the restaurant/funeral home knows as The Peppermill. From 1:30 to 4:00 pm.

This is what handcuffs me this weekend. But I’d definitely come in the evening if there is a cash game rolling.

Ironically I think I am actually going to play a wsop event this year so would have been a nice way to satellite in.

Oh, I know you had obligations, but it just sounded funnier the way I framed it up earlier. As for the cash game, I'll send texts out later in the day to give you guys a go/no-go on that. I know Chuck's player pool (5-6 players) aren't cash players. I assume some might be poker-ed out. Not sure about the 5-6 from Brian's group either. I mean, I know I'd be in ....

Sounds good. Get the kinks out this year and next year let’s do a ME satty
ME satellite would be hard with this crew. You'd have to do a multi-month points event, or find enough players to pony up a $500-$1000 buy-in for a single event. I think at best, you'd get 10 players, but with my crew, more like 5 total.

You could do a 4-6 month series with a $150/pp entry and get maybe 20 people, but that's a stretch too, since I already have my monthly game, and almost 1/2 of the other players come from other games which are on the weeks I'd most likely want to host this too.
