If I posted this same question I think you'd tell me the mix of shiny/smooth inlays doesn't work well with the textured PCAs. Color-wise it fits just fine.

A couple of years ago, for sure. But I’ve stopped picking apart peoples’ mixed set choices.
Though I might still make fun of anybody who makes a mixed set with RHCs.

No hate at all. Thing is, I’m a bit of an RHC basher because they don’t hold up well.

The hat&canes are too close to the edge. Weak points along the entire rolling edge. If it’s not handled with care when betting or raising, they get chipped up.

My THCs in comparison, hold up way better. I’ve felted my Empress set a few times now, you’d not be able to see any signs of wear or flea bites.

I’m sure all chips ultimately get banged up, but RHC do tend to get banged up by simply removing them from packaging.

It’s not hate on my end. More of a strong preference to THCs. My collection is more RHC than anything too. So I hear ya a bit on my hypocrisy. No hate though. I love em

Sure. But that be like on a car forum and shitting on Chevy bc they’re not as good as Honda constantly. We know RHC is inferior quality is what it is. You can still have a mixed RHC set @upNdown lol

Give an RHC a textured inlay and you’re starting to get somewhere. Leaded is even better. PCA $1 secondary chips are wonderful.

And here is set I like to call “Green Machine”. Leaded and gnarly!! I have more than half a mind to find leaded dark green solid bricks to use as Fracs and make this Green machine a Green monster! Hahahaha!
