Don’t know if it was intentional to make the blue 3d14 chips resemble the Silver Saddle $1, but it does. Strongly
Really wish the originally mocked $1 and $5 could’ve gotten produced

I believe there are site rules against posts like this that don't include the mentioned mock ups.
Great pic. Do you have either of the original fracs for comparison to the BTP $2?

Agreed. Genuine fan on the inlay. Basic enough to keep attention focused on chips yet has a classic/professional feel to it like a Vegas casino.I just want to say kudos to whoever pulled these off. While I don't love every chip, or every set (is that ever possible?), I will say that all things considered, as a NAGB overall, this is the best one yet. There are some absolutely incredible chips in this lineup. And to pull this off with the handicap of not being able to order bear claws or 818s or any of the other epic spot patterns that got pulled, bravo! These really are some epic chips. And I kinda like the inlay too. It's simple, clean, and reminiscent of both the Caribbean and old school Vegas. It reminds me of the Primadonna TRKs with a latin flair. Honestly, this is a great set, or sets rather. I'm excited to hopefully be able to play with these one day.

While there are some nice individual chips here, when you look at these as sets, it’s just a mess.
It’s as if someone took the palette of bright paulson base colours and dumped a barrel of dayglo V and 1/8 spots on them.
And to top it off, lovers of Arial will be delighted by the subtle and sophisticated font chosen for the denominations.
Got 4V418?
Also, I don't think it has quite sunk in yet that there are 48mm chips in this NAGB. I've seen a few people mistakenly refer to them as 43mm. While yes, there appears to be some 43mm chips as well, there are also some INSANE 48mm chips in these pics. 48s with EPIC spots! These don't exist pretty much anywhere else. Not in quantity. Not in sets. Not in racks. I saw someone say something about a $30 ea price tag being "too high" or something like that for the 48mm chips. LMFAO! I'll wager good money right now with anyone that these will be selling for $40 to $50 ea by the end of next year. I don't think you guys realize how insane a barrel of 48mm chips feels in your hands. It's practically like holding a can of beer. I can't even imagine having an entire playable set of 48mm chips. That's NUTS!
I remember selling the Winner's Club chips to @Seeking Alpha Social Club a couple years ago, which had some 50mm no molds in it, and just thinking I'd regret letting those go one day because of how rare/epic they are. And that was just 80 chips.

And here those are on top of some cards for size reference. Granted, 48mm is just slightly smaller than 50mm, but these have inlays that can be removed/replaced and have hats and canes! That is just insanely epic. Once these make an appearance at a meetup and everyone gets to feel them in person, people are going to be dipping into their kids' college funds to get their hands on them. I've seen some of the chips that this community is willing to pay $30 ea for. $30 is a STEAL for nice 48mm chips if we're comparing to what other chips in this current market go for. If you want to talk about overall market prices being too high then that's a different conversation. Or if you don't like oversized chips to begin with, then again, different conversation. But if you like oversized chips and you're looking at these in comparison to what other chips in this market are selling for? $30 is one hell of a bargain I think. Especially when you consider the fact that these are the only ones in existence. 43mm chips are relatively rare, albeit less so each year. But 48mm? Ya, those effectively don't exist (until now).

A bit early for an April Fool’s joke…Breaking News!
Based on the explosion of interest in the collectible chipping market over the past few years, GPI announces they will be relaunching sales to the general public on some of their more popular WTHC, Pharos and Le Cove fantasy sets.
Stay tuned for the details.
Sometimes it’s just fun to drop a turd in the punch bowl and see what happens.A bit early for an April Fool’s joke…
It would be great to see where you can point out where I’ve extracted max profit out of chips. You’re ridiculous. As far as holding Mapes chips hostage all I can say is I don’t own a single Mapes chip. And the ones I sold were at cost or well below your beloved “market value”. And with very few exceptions I don’t deal in singles. and If I had chips that weren’t in my sets I’ve helped may a chipper out to complete theirs. I also don’t hold out “trade bait” for hostage as I don’t really believe in trade bait unles I choose to sacrifice something in one of my sets. You don’t have to like my opinions Travis after all we all no what opinions are like. But to think of scammers as Robin Hood’s some who don’t even collect chips is a GFYS moment. $20 a chip for a bullshit fantasy chip that was paid for 3 or 4 dollars give me a break. And to stick one chipper for $20 and another for $10 for the same chips is downright ASSHOLE. It’s no secret that I told Tristan that he set himself up to be a target of those assholes, but it doesn’t make it right. So in light of all that I’m contemplating an email to Angel so they know exactly who they were dupped by. I have reached what I believe IS all the complete sets a man could want and probably more so I’m all good in my vault. But it boils my blood to see so many who get raked over the coals here for the sake of profit to the extreme based on scams. If you scam Angel you’ll scam a fellow chipper obviously. So in a nutshell you to sir can GFYS for accusing me of being a max profiteer there are so many here who may beg to differ. I finally have an asshat list and you’re number one.So if someone bought chips from Paulson to resell to chippers, they're in the GFY camp? Really? How is that any different from what the Chip Room does? And what does that make you, Mr. "I found a hoard of Mapes $100s and decided to hold them all hostage for absolute peak singles prices"?
I'm a free market guy. I see nothing wrong with reselling whatever someone has at whatever prices the market dictates. But what I can't wrap my brain around is why someone like you, who puts in as much effort as you do trying to flip chips for maximum profit is capable of telling someone else to go F themselves for doing the same.
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but we've been using that term in the Bay Area for years to refer to the Camelot chips. I believe I came up with it, but I'm not sure. It might have been @RocAFella1? Here's a post that predates yours by a year or so from Roc where he picked up some fakeshores at the convention. But we were definitely using that term well before this post, because I remember asking the crew to keep their eyes out for singles of Lakeshores or Fakeshores at that convention ahead of time:

“Whoever” indeed. A total mystery, right?I just want to say kudos to whoever pulled these off.
