These chips make me so angry (1 Viewer)

I know it sounds crazy and irrational, but it's true. Every time I see these chips on eBay, I get angry. I almost want to buy them and destroy them, just so nobody ever has to look at them again.
Who in their right mind would take such great chips and ruin them with those huge, ugly, boring inlays that all look the same? It's maddening.

I've never been a fan of those chips either, but I've never had the urge to buy them to remove them from circulation! Those chips might even be tolerable without the oversize inlays. As a Floridian, I declare these chips to be the "Florida Man" of the poker chip world.

I keep a few thousand FCC chips around just for simple people like you, who get tilted so easily by such trivial factors.

Or dummies who think they're CFCs instead of FCCs -- I'd keep them for that reason alone.

Actually, they're liked by some people who are involved in or have an appreciation for graphic design, and are pretty interesting to collectors of Florida wet sets, or wet sets in general. They went out of play over ten years ago. Plus, IMO, the 100 and 500 are quite attractive.

I think they're dreadful myself, but even if my opinion is the popular one in this instance - and I'm not sure that it is - even Pacers and Pintos have their fans. It's a good thing many of us prefer different chips or else there would be an awful lot of sad, empty-handed, would-be chippers out there.
