Seasonal Ear infections. Went to the dr. yesterday at the local "urgent care" place, and yup, it's an ear infection. She asks if I hadn't gotten better since my last visit (she recognized me). I mentioned that it had been a while, and she looked at my chart. Yup. was there last September with an ear infection... and the September before that ... and the September before that...
I did wait over 2 weeks to get to the Dr, but even so, something about this time of year that my ears just don't like. Hopefully the antibiotics kick in fast and I can get most of my hearing back..

Sorry Mark, both of my kids had ear infections in the past month as well and the bobo at the urgent care perforated my little one's ear drum trying to irrigate her ear canal from wax. Make sure you're on a decongestant or allergy pill especially after getting over a virus. 99% of ear infections occur after having a URI. Hope you feel better!
Funny thing is, I feel 100% fine except for my clogged ears. Have felt fine for the past 2 weeks as well. Just a little fuzzy with the hearing.
Half of the time it's a virus so antibiotics don't do squat. The problem is you can't tell the difference in the early period so you end up getting the antibiotics just in case. Same thing with pneumonia (which is obviously worse).
