Very sorry to hear this! I hope your wife continues her recovery. Sadly, none of us know what tomorrow holds. Sending thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Classified ads that describe the condition of chips for sale as ”bought as mint by me”, or similar. Wtf do I care about what condition the chips were said to be in when you bought them? Please tell me what condition you would say they are in NOW that I’m buying them.

And while on the subject of classified ads, I really hate when sellers state: ”once I drop them off at the post office, my responsibility ends”. No it doesn’t, jerk off. What does that even mean? You won’t do shit to help if something happens? Basically, with any shipping service it’s up to the sender to file a complaint etc.

Yeah, I know, I can choose whom I buy/don’t buy from, but it still annoys me.

That’s the worst. I hope nobody ever lists chips that I want to buy, with that disclaimer. I’d feel like an idiot if I chose to deal with that person.

Those chiproom isle of Capri auction roulettes are some of the nicest looking inlaid roulettes I’ve ever seen. Murdering those pretty birds would be bullshit. And if those inlays are actually textured (because I believe they’re all leaded) well then murdering those would be whatever is bullshittier than bullshit.

I never had any delusions that they’d survive. But the prices the cool colors are going for are nuts! Add the labor of killing and the prices of labels and you’ve got some expensive solids.
