Bought something out of the UK in November. Seller dragged their feet and sent the item to Royal Mail in December (Trust me I would have canceled the order but it was something at a very fair price). Damn item sat in Royal mail center for a month before being shipped. Once over to the states this damn thing has been more to cities and states than I have in the past 5 years. It's been stuck in Georgia since the 4th with nothing! Call USPS and you get nowhere. What's worse is that at one point it was no more than 20 mins from my house.

I can make a run to Atlanta if its worth my gas money + reshipping, sometimes you can call and tell them to hold it there. Let me know, pretty free this weekend. I know UK shipping has been insanity with the hack.

Oh shit. Loved that place. You would check out an item on the shelf, bring a slip up to the register, pay, and then wait at the conveyor belt to slowly deliver your item from the back room.

Wow yeah, I forgot about that process. I think I was pretty young when the last one around here closed, but I remember it now.

Yep!

Also had a Montgomery Ward five minutes' walk from my house. I went over there all the time to gawk at video game consoles and other stuff that I wanted but my parents couldn't afford.

Still ended up with a Sears Tele-Games console even though I knew it hurt the bank account severely.

Oops, wrong thread. That was definitely NOT bullshit!

Sometimes, we need to choose our words and thoughts much more carefully.

Yesterday, her Brother had to go the ER, as he was sick and disoriented. He was diagnosed with meningitis. Further tests showed a heart murmur, and then the unthinkable. An infection of a heart valve lead to a major stroke, and I’ve been informed that’s non-recoverable. He’s 50, has 2 kids (21 & 18) and 2 step sons The last thing he said to his sister was “K”. I wish I could take back that post and those words. I’m very saddened for our whole family. My wife is the only one left from her family now.

Choose your words and thoughts wisely. You never know what the future holds.

It’s been a month !!
