Meh. I can’t begrudge chiproom for getting his money out of them, especially since they’re mostly single racks. That guy’s been selling us cheap chips for years.

What would be worse (or in the theme of the thread, more BS)? Those Isle of Capri chips sitting unplayed, collecting dust OR being relabeled into a great custom set which hits the felt with regularity? Can only choose between these 2 options... I would personally put them under the knife.

Removing inlays from roulettes are cheaper than milling solid/hotstamps roulettes, both ways require a new label. Who wants to play poker with roulette chips. :wtf:

Third stomach bug for my baby girl in just 8 weeks. Vomited thrice overnight. Wife is home with her.

Part 1 was "The Vomiting". Then got sick again three weeks later, part 2 was "The Shittening". I don't know what this time will bring, but for sure, part 3 now, it will at least be "The Fuckening" either way.

Just sick kids in general as a parent. That's bullshit.

Truth. My kids are older (16 & 13) and I'm still dealing with this shit, we're now on 8 consecutive weeks where someone in the house was sick at some point during the week. Sinus infections, 4 different viruses (zero COVID), flu, and this week was strep, yay......

I hear you. At least when they're older they can fend for themselves a bit. All of this illness and sickness has been a logistical nightmare. I'm going to be pissed if I have to take time off unpaid to go to meetups this year. It's been a horrific start to the year in terms of using PTO.
 
I remember a time when wearing a mask was the norm, and people rarely got sick. People were furious. Now the masks are off, kids are getting sick like they are licking doorknobs, and that's bullshit?

Got a game set up last night…everyone is on time….chips are out…two hands in…my kid begins to projectile vomit all over the living room….she immediately feels better and wants to play “bet you can’t catch me”…she slips in her enormous puddle of puke….it all goes downhill from there.

Everyone leaves….The Dave comes back 5 minutes later. “Can we borrow some chips and cards”…

That’s bullshit.

People gotta stop bullying my friends and I, especially 3 members who stalk me. Decided to not have a 1000-post giveaway and decided to send the bonus chips to friends who helped me chipping. I wil never do a giveaway, which I did for 500 and 777 posts. Rather, I will throw in a few chips to friends, people who helped me buy/sell/trade chips.

If things get worse, I will be just here as a vendor in the future.

Oh and if people don't like my buying/selling style, there are much worse people on The Chip Board. Like dealers who buy chips with $250-300 catalog from collectors for $200, then sell for $1500 the same day on the show.

Seriously, leave me alone if you hate me. You will save your time, as well as admins, mods, and mine. It will be a win-win for all.
