Things that make you Happy (10 Viewers)

When your mate says his wife’s deli does the best square sausage in Glasgow and I say “prove it”.

Now that’s what I call a sausage…

As you get older, it is always nice to realize on your birthday that you are actually turning a year younger than you initially thought you were turning! I feel like I have gained a year of life today!!!
Started a new job telling all the guys how old I was only to realize 9 months later on my birthday I was a year younger than I told them lol.

Fishing is just enjoyable and relaxing to me. When we go on a fishing trip, I will fish when I get up until I'm unable to fish anymore and then go to bed. Yesterday I was able to do some offshore fishing with some friends and I caught the fish of a lifetime. African Pompano!

Sometimes it's the little things....

My oldest son has been on the "F the Chiefs because of Taylor Swift" movement all during the playoffs. So of course I've sent him dozens of Swiftie memes and gifs the last 2 weeks (I stole a glorious groundhog day one from the WTF thread that was gold). He's still having a bunch of buddies over for the game today. So naturally, as a good host, we have to provide dessert....

I taught a friend how to play poker; he'd played before but didn't know what the blinds were, so I count him as brand new. Just went to Vegas to play for more than our usual $20 and was TERRIFIED at the poker table! Love hearing the story:
- opened Ajo to $6, 2 callers.
-Checks all the way to the river
-Some mook bets $10 and he folds because the board was AQ763 on the board, "someone could've had a straight or AQ". This is the same ape shoving his entire $10 stack whenever we play! Makes me smile big, he'll be at the tournament next Saturday, gotta have some reverse tells to throw him off now that he thinks he's a big shot mindreader.

For non-medical people, this email notification means that I get to continue my medical training and one day hopefully have a job.
I remember that you struck out last year. So happy to see that you'll be able to continue the journey. Congratulations! I have to imagine this took a lot of perseverance and resilience.
