I play a weekly game where the host has Majestics. I honestly prefer them over ceramic myself purely because of the sound when shuffling. There is no smell on his chips (and for what it's worth I've never noticed any significant smell on any china clay chips from apache I've come across). I don't like the Royals because they are oversized 43mm instead of 39mm. I don't think the colors are better either, but that's preference.

Design wise, I don't like the Tiki Kings but BR Pro has other designs that are great, and as others have said they are the best ceramic available.

I've never needed them, but I went way overboard with the number of chips here. I could easily run 2 tables of micro with my set.
