Time for a cocktail! (6 Viewers)

TicToc video was great. Not sure what a meatier influencer is though. And at this point. I’m too afraid to ask. :ROFLMAO:

Nice 70 degree October day in MI. Turning on the grill and having a boulevardier. Used to do a lot of Negronis, but I think I prefer this.

Then things took a twist

Decided to follow the exact recipe except use 4 Roses instead of vodka.
Even used the unmelted ice in the same glass and sugared rim ( half consumed )

Wowza. Amazing.

My oldest just turned 18, and as promised I'm with her tonight while she gets some piercings. Nothing crazy, nose and industrial.

Still, I'm making one of these when I get home.

I skipped the sugared rim because I was afraid it might be too sweet. Wrong - the sweetness is just right for me. This is basically a whiskey margarita, and it really works.

Of course, the only option was the Bourbon Club tumbler.

Another new York Sour. It's the feature drink at this weekend's game. I prefer it with equal parts of lemon and simple syrup.

Also I made this one with cab sav, but I think malebec is better.

What's this one?
It's @MatB's variation on @detroitdad's lemon martini.

Follow these directions, but substitute 2oz bourbon for the vodka:
2 ounces of vodka
3/4 ounce of fresh lemon juice
1/2 to 3/4 ounce of cointreau
1/2 ounce of simple syrup (I make mine using unfiltered cane sugar)
couple of dashes of orange bitters

Shake, and serve in a chilled glass.

Rim is sugar and lemon zest.

I should also note that I stirred rather than shaking.

I know, I know - it's got citrus. But generally, if I'm not putting dairy or egg white in the cocktail, I almost always just stir it.
