I feel like I need extra small cocktail glasses so I can drink a few different cocktails on a given evening without getting wasted. The Manhattan I just made was 1.5oz rye and .75oz vermouth instead of 2:1 because I already had a Negroni earlier and wine with dinner. Now round 2 (of Manhattan's):

I think @detroitdad and I have similar recipes.
-2 oz of your favorite bourbon or rye
-1.5 oz grand marnier
-Simple syrup
-4-6 dashes of bitters
-Garnish with orange peel and cherry (luxardo, Woodford reserve, bada bing, or the like)
All over a big ice ball or big ice cube.

Amaro Sour
1.5 oz amaro (Montenegro)
.75 oz bourbon (Woodford Reserve)
1 oz lemon
.25 oz simple syrup
Maraschino Cherr
Last night I made it with the opposite Amaro to bourbon ratio. Obviously this is better balanced and it also helps keeping the alcohol down so I can have multiple cocktails without getting too drunk
