It’s only 500 pieces, but like 3 colors and the pieces are 1 of 4 shapes.started our first puzzle in 20+ years. think this is the year of puzzles. That one looks really tough.

Been enjoying whiskey sours recently. Needed to do something with this bottle lolView attachment 1054509
Yeah I learned that lesson with that batch. I premixed the bitters in the first time lolDash of bitters on the foam adds nice touch.
1897 is great for cocktails. That cherry note really shines. 1920 works great too!
That sounds, and LOOKS really amazing. Did you use Irish whiskey, or bourbon? The James Joyce
Similar ingredients Yowzer this is great.
Could strain the ice better but I like the chips.

All cocktails are great with top shelf ingredients.Tonight I used Old Forester Bourbon for all the cocktails.
Cointreau instead of triple sec
The James Joyce was my favorite.
What are some of the decent Irish whiskeys? I was in a store last week and they were doing samples of Teeling. They had a small batch and a single malt. I thought they were both pretty good, but what do I know... I do know I had some Jameson at a friends house and wasn't impressed. I'm sure it was the most basic one they make. All cocktails are great with top shelf ingredients.
Cock & Bull or Bundaberg are my favorites.I recently got hooked on Moscow Mules and am big on fresh limes and good vodka but am looking for recommendations on best Ginger Beers. Thinking of doing a taste test of what’s available just on their own
I have had the Bundaberg but will need to look for the others. I do like the spicier ones. Cheers!Cock & Bull or Bundaberg are my favorites.
Reed’s is good too, and has varying options of spice.
I’m a fan of Teeling. Their Small Batch is good and was my entry point to Irish Whiskeys on a Dublin trip. As a starting standard of Irish Whiskey, you can’t go wrong with Small Batch. What are some of the decent Irish whiskeys? I was in a store last week and they were doing samples of Teeling. Thanks for the great response! So Jameson... Is it pretty ordinary? Kind of like the Jack Daniels of Irish whiskey?I’m a fan of Teeling. Their Small Batch is good and was my entry point to Irish Whiskeys on a Dublin trip. As a starting standard of Irish Whiskey, you can’t go wrong with Small Batch.
Redbreast 12 might be the default standard of good Irish Whiskey. Their 15 is also really good (albeit more $$).
Back to Teeling, they have a cool story as the first distiller to open operations in Dublin for like 125 years. They also experiment, pushing Irish Whiskey beyond the traditionally sweet taste. They are all very different and meet different moods. I‘ve been tasting a few and will be hosting an Irish Whiskey tasting at my Feb game: Small Batch (rum cask), Single Grain (cab cask), Stout Cask, and Blackpitts (peated single malt in bourbon casks.
Never had it.Thanks for the great response! So Jameson... Is it pretty ordinary? Kind of like the Jack Daniels of Irish whiskey?
Yes. It’s not bad at all. But it’s the default at any bar. That and/or Bushmills. Thanks for the great response! So Jameson... Is it pretty ordinary? Kind of like the Jack Daniels of Irish whiskey?
My Irish collection. It doesn’t even scratch the surface of the great bottles. What are some of the decent Irish whiskeys? I was in a store last week and they were doing samples of Teeling.
