I think we should abandon this train of thought and posting that people shouldn't even try. Two Paulson buys have happened.
The first group to try had the above mindset and took a lot of precautions that probably weren't necessary. The second buy saw that it could be done and did it successfully again.
It has been said that GPI doesn't care about our money. I think that is something that we created because GPI chose not to sell directly to us. AFAIK that statement has never come out of GPI's offices. GPI is not a huge company. Their security concerns are lip service as GPI approved a set of chips that closely resembled another rack and then presumably sold several sets of chips knowinly for home game use to a casino's VIP's.
Buying chips from GPI can be done. It's how to do it that is tough.
@Mr Tree this is in no way throwing shade in your direction, you absolutely could be right, but I don't necessarily see that based on things have gone down recently.
