I suppose that is a fair criticism, but understand that I didn't buy my chips with the intent of reselling them, and certainly not to flip. But I am guilty of selling what I decided I didn't really need at market prices. But that was well after the fallout of the buy and even more well after I was excommunicated from the MA/NH crowd, which happened right around the time the first buy even occurred.

Actually no, it's not advisable to use TSP on metal (nor ceramic, if that's your preferred anus knife material).

Exasperatedly and reluctantly decides to climb on high horse to share personal opinion
It feels that everything that needs to be said has now been said, repeatedly, and by both "sides", again. Well, except this anus knife wrinkle.
Those who wanted to show off their new chips have done so, and I truly offer congratulations.
Those who wanted to see more chips have seen them, at least pictures that have been made available.
Those who wanted to revisit past criticisms of boat chips have logged their complaints.
Those who wanted to once again defend boat chips have provided their counterarguments.
Those who wanted to troll the forum have gotten their barbs in, had their fun, and caught their fish.
If someone wants to post pics of new chips from anywhere and any source, I'd love to see them. However, many of the key owners of the chips mentioned in this post reside elsewhere and appear uninterested in sharing.
For those who remain upset about historical events, perhaps the better solution is to move elsewhere and start a new community that better aligns with your personal ideals and beliefs. Separation is often the best solution for those who just can't put the past behind them and be civil to one another. I kindly ask that you stop visiting this site if your sole purpose is to spread discord. If you believe that you are "in-the-right", then nothing that is said will change your opinion. Visiting for the sole purpose of sharing negativity is petty and vindictive, and I choose to believe that most people are better than that.
If you do want to visit, it seems that you would want to make the choice to be more pleasant company and contribute something positive. If you feel a need to be here, it's for a reason--which is probably that you actually like and miss many of the people on here. Please choose to focus on your friends, and not your online adversaries. I don't want to come across as arrogant or condescending in this post, I'm simply bored of the online banter and I tire of Hatfield-McCoy feuding.
For those who like the forum and its history, I would suggest not adding fuel to the fire. You aren't going to convince anyone that you are right, as the group that you are trying to influence doesn't trust you enough to let you have any influence on the situation. Your arguments will be perceived as disingenuous and misleading, full of half-truths and malicious omissions. Sometimes it's better to choose "having peace" over "being right", as occasionally it is not possible to have both. I think this is the current situation.
Anyway, I'm climbing off my high horse, which appears to have died during my minor rant. My avatar is just a tribute to Craig's brilliant parrot pic find, and not in criticism of Harley's jester's cap chips. My mailbox is open for criticisms/complaints, and most folks have my phone number too if you need to share or just vent.
Please be kind, and don't beat the dead horse....

I mean, I like Pee-wee Herman a lot too, just watched Big Adventure with my kids for the first time the other day, and I quite liked the 3rd movie he did with Netflix.
