Seems like posting this is good luck ... here goes nothing

Looks like my late-December order is right between @Himewad and @cpac54. When the CSQ run started earlier than expected, I allowed myself to hope that I might get the order in time for my May 20 game, but it sounds like that was a pipe dream.

Now I’m just hoping they get here in the first week or two of June before I leave town for a month. The anxiety of knowing that my chips are just sitting there in my house 2,000 miles away might actually be unbearable …
 
Just a heads up for anyone receiving chips towards the end of the mold’s run - Make sure you check your chips thoroughly and promptly because once the mold comes out of the press you will have to wait a long time to get your chips replaced. I am speaking from experience on this one. I received my chips right before I left for vacation last year so I took a quick look at them and didn’t have a chance to thoroughly check them until I returned home 10ish days later. When I did look through all of them there were issues with approximately 240 chips that needed to be remade. I was probably the last order or close to it so when I emailed David I was told the mold had been replaced already. Long story short, David did replace the defective chips but I did have to wait 8 months for new ones to arrive. BGA

How are you figuring where you might be in the queue? I didn’t think they were necessarily being made in the order the request was received?

FWIW I paid on 12/13/22. My initial request was in advance of that, but that’s the date I actually paid on. My order is just an add-on (CSQ)

same here… if my order will be produced „in the middle of the CSQ run“ like David estimated a few month ago, everything is fine because this should be end of march plus 2 to 3 weeks of shipping. So the order could arrive in mid June. If there will be a an unexpected delay, the risk of being shipped within my holiday trip will be very high. I don’t want to risk that my box will be returned to cpc from German customs because no one picked it up.

I think that as soon as we have may, I will check my inbox 50 times a day. :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

Does Deutsche Post not offer vacation holds? I suspect CPC can coordinate shipment with you.

well, I ain’t like the thought that the faith of my cpc Chips lies in the hand of Deutsche Post :ROFL: :ROFLMAO: even that I never had any issues with their services, but in this case: naaaaaaah :LOL: :laugh: my choice would be the second option :D

They made it through Heathrow in 3 days! Some sort of record! Today is a bank holiday in the UK but if customs pull their finger out, these might be in play by the weekend!

Yes! Congrats, mine made it through to customs here in record time but are now stuck. I've spent hours trying to unstick them...need them released by this time tomorrow if they are going to be here in time for my weekend game.

If not, I'm in Berlin next week so I hope they take their time....don't want them sitting in a Parcelforce depo, scared and alone!
