Upcoming molds......... (7 Viewers)

It's common for craft artisan goods in niche communities to have long waiting lists.

For chess, the go-to Dubrovnik sets are from Noj. Waiting list is years.

For watches, the go-to mechanical repeater under $10k is Chris Ward's Bel Canto. Waiting list is 9 months.

For clothes, the go-to leather jacket brand was ToJ. Waiting list was many months.

A last minute Hail Mary………does anyone have a jockey mold order in I could add 100 chips too? Order has to be in very soon, I just have this small add on. I really don’t want to buy 300 chips.

Thanks

Send David an email. If he OK's it and we're before the cutoff PM me.

I hear you. A Ferrari I’d wait for… CPC chips. I’ll buy them off of someone. Pics if you ever order any and when you get them.

But think if they could kick them out in a month..

They are beautiful.

I think David is a lucky man and we’re lucky to have him at our disposal. I do not disagree with anything you’re saying. I’ve bought several racks and built my HHR cash set out of what he had laying around in his closet and my playable collection is better for it.

Poor choice. I used them as an example of a successful company without instant gratification, but their actual product is a "Point A to Point A" car. You can't trust a valet with it. You can't leave it unattended in a parking lot. They have technical issues like phantom battery drain that have been unresolved for decades leading them to require trickle chargers plugged into the wall 24/7 to keep the battery alive. Panels inside the car will randomly fall off.

By the way, if you don't want to wait for a CPC set, I could shoot you pics of my HHR set. If you buy it, I'll ship it out right away and use a backup Paulson set while I wait on a new/different custom CPC set. I have about 1500 chips ranging from 25c to $1k and the whole set would be about $4k.

I got all the HHR’s I need thanks. And I wouldn’t wait for a Ferrari. It was more a figure of speech.

I drive a Sierra. Can’t haul plywood in a Ferrari.

FDL still isn’t done I know that much. Don’t know what the other mold is thats installed though.

Tried to use the search to find the answer to this but wasn’t finding the answer I was looking for. For those of you that have done add on orders and gotten more quantity of the exact chip you had ordered in the past, can you tell any difference between the batches once the chips are in play? Trying to decide if my OCD will be able to handle if you can see a slight color difference if anything like that is noticeable.

Depends on the difference in years and the color(s).

Two examples (Parris white limit set, St Maarten Isle Hotel spots) here: Post in thread 'On samples'

There are others

If you do add ons in concurrent years or a couple of years after the original set, they'll be very close if not identical.

If adding onto a set made in the ASM days or pre whatever year the DG chips and bright white brightened up, the chips are going to look quite different.
