Upcoming molds......... (19 Viewers)

Paying attention to the above discussions on treating new chips. I am simply brushing the faces with a dry toothbrush to remove surface dust from the mold and then wiping the edges down. In process, but at least some colorful racks:

That should be all you need. That's all I ever do, and that's with 16k CPC (and ASM) chips over more than 15 years.

These are absolutely gorgeous. Great colors, nice and simple inlay design that has a bit of an old-school feel. The shaped inlays are *chef's kiss* here!

Enjoy 'em and win big with 'em. This is how to do customs!:tup:

Your sets are outstanding! The guys I play with love a blue dollar and the most commented on set is my Rincon HHRs that I added some ASMs with labels a long time ago to round out a small cash set back in the early ChipTalk era. I'm hoping to get these in play this weekend!

FINALLY found the time to take some pics thanks to a rainy day today (and a golf cancellation :confused)...
Received my Scroll Mold chips 10 days ago and, as expected, LOVE the results...:love::love:

  • Each chip has a side 1 label and a side 2 label.
  • Made one big CPC purchase to be interchangeable: one Cash set and two different Tournament sets

Will start a separate thread soon with more details and more pics - including my custom cut cards, custom tabletop, as well as my custom MSK plaques and Dealer Buttons.

And... I plan to release (just) 2 sample sets into the wild. Stay tuned!

Thanks for looking!

These are beautiful! Scroll is an elegant mold. The cash set has a nice progression and color scheme to it, although the quarter pie $500 is my fav.

Yes! A T1 and a T5 Tournament set!! :cool

I thought i put in big orders....wow!! That's a hoard of chips!! Big fan of Scroll here as well.

Would love to know how the Ewing feels. I like the look of DSQ but I prefer the more textured molds like B-Diamond HHR etc. Is Ewing smooth? Between the two i like the look of DSQ but Ewing being available for the first time publicly is sexy.....ooooohhhhh the decisions we have to make in life!!!

The big pro of the DSQ is simply the look since it fits a ton of inlay themes. But the missing texture would stress me... probably ...

That's why I really love the scroll so much! It is between CSQ (more on the smooth side) and B-Mold (textured) and hits the sweet spot for me. But scroll defenitely won't fit a lot of inlay themes, that's for sure.

That said, after 331 days my Babies arrived last week :cool Even that I was no. 1 in the queue, some received their orders before me since shipping to Europe took 2 weeks...

Oh shit!! Open it! I was just looking through all your messages hoping you'd gotten them already!

By the way, the scroll mold seems to be slightly larger than 39 mm.
That's something I can't confirm 100% since I don't have a calliper. I compared chips from my scroll set and my last CSQ set, and the scroll seems to have the same diameter. Even if scroll were slightly larger, it definitely wouldn't be immediately noticeable...

I didn’t think I would like the Ewing mold as much as I do. But there’s just something about DSQ.

Anyone have a pro/con list of both molds?

Some have pointed out that an offset DIASQR inlay can fall over the inner ring, given the small radius. I wonder if the same holds true for 1” inlays on Ewing mold.
