Upcoming molds......... (14 Viewers)

It does make sense. Nevertheless, I readjusted my expectations to a July/August arrival. Do they usually run the same mold at the same time each year? If so, when did the FDLs start shipping last year?
My understanding is that molds run depending on demand. Hard to make it same time each year as there might be more orders of XYZ mold in different years making it have to run longer

Thanks. Love your chips. I found one w/ the two colors I was looking for in the Nessie's chips. Would love to see it on a Retro Blue 814 yellow chip but I don't think anyone else has done that. Looks like CPC's closest color to a traditional gold color is their normal yellow to me.
If you are looking for a color that is close to Paulson gold (non metallic), I think yellow and butterscotch are probably the closest.

I’m pretty sure I saw somewhere on the CPC site that when you get your proof you can still change your base and spot colors if you want, does anyone know if that is accurate or did I just dream that up?

Yellow was used much more in sets created in the 2000s, when DG yellow wasn't nearly as bright and canary didn't exist yet. Retro blue didn't exist at that point as well, so you don't see the combo very often. Aside from the chessie's cove frac, the only other chip I can think of that's close is the Vesper Club chips from last year, I believe that's retro blue with canary spots.

I think this is the opposite of what you're looking for, and the blue may actually be dark blue instead of retro (based on the date):

If you're looking for a traditional old school gold color (think Notre Dame gold), yellow is probably the closest you'll get. As @wonderpuddle notes above Butterscotch matches better if you're trying to match Paulson's gold, which is a more brownish color.

Canary on left. Yellow on right.
