Well...the bad news is that if you stick with that mold, it'll require excruciating patience.

The good news is that if you stick with a 12 month mold....with the way inflation is going here in the states....once you do receive them, you can flip them for a couple hundred thousand dollars, easy.

Thanks! Yeah, my two sets I received were in this current run which lasted several months. I was referring to the order window which usually closes several months before the run begins. I suspect I will have through the summer to order to make that next run.

Speaking of the incredible responsiveness from David, he emailed me info this morning on the process and left the door slightly open to receiving my BTJ set in time for the 2nd annual birthday poker tournament:

“The [DSQ] run won’t start for a couple months yet. It takes a minimum 3-4 months just to make the clay for an order and then hand-make and assemble every piece one by one before pressing even starts. When it does start, there are 15 orders before yours and some orders can take over two weeks to press. Depending on the complexity of the chip, the yield of the press can be as little as 300 a day.

So in regards to your date, it’s really 50/50 right now.”

Wow. That is incredible. I wish we could pull back the curtain and see them doing it from start to finish, but too many trade secrets I guess. Maybe he could get some of the NAGB people to put together some NDAs

I’m doing an H mold add on and a B mold cash set and he told me 4-6 months. Fingers crossed

Probably before you. I got mine in before the end of 2021, but David had said it wasn’t for certain that it would make the cutoff. Emailed him a few days ago to check, and boom.

I guess I’m just surprised if mid-March 2022 was the cutoff for it since it just ran. By my count the following molds still need a run before large crown again. Assuming, there are orders for these and that’s how it works.

25 is dg green, dg pink, bright white. Blurple is the $500, which most games I host don't get big enough to use. I'll probably have a special Big Game soon so they can see some action.
