Day 6 - Palermo

We spent that day to visit the historical center of Palermo.
On the first pic below, you can see the Arab-Norman church of Palermo.

And then, the "Piazza della Vergogna" (fountain of shame, called like that because all the statues are naked).

For lunch, we had "Panne e Panelle", a typical Palermitan snack.

After lunch, we visited the Capuchin Catacombs but there, pictures are not allowed. This is really impressive, but definitely not a place to visit with children. Some visitors went there with children and we found this really questionnable. To get there, we passed by the Palermo Cathedral that you can see on the below pic :

Day 7 - Mondello

We spent our last day at Mondello beach, near Palermo. Again, crystal clear water !

And that's all folks !
The next day, we had our plane and got back to real life ahah.

Spent the night last night at the Stoney Nakoda Casino, between Calgary and Canmore, Alberta. Headed into Banff today. I expect to have lots more cool pix from this beautiful part of the world in the coming days!!

Made it into Banff...this place REALLY IS as beautiful as everyone claims!!

Here is a pic of the town of Banff from atop Sulphur Mountain...just a short gondola ride up from the city.

Fontainebleau

Absinthe (Chicks on sticks!) I’ve seen this show numerous times and it never disappoints. Always my #1 Vegas recommendation.

I’ll lump this nice shot of a CFL game in as well. While not in Vegas, the Las Vegas Posse did have a short run in the CFL in the mid 90’s. Landed at 1am on game day so it is a vacation photo on a technicality.

Hitting the slopes today. Got nothing right. Forgot to wear my contacts and the zipper on my ski jacket was broken. Luckily, my wife is doing cross country skiing instead and doesn’t need hers, and I was able to fit into it. So I’m looking extra pretty today and am easy to spot.
