What does your office look like? (5 Viewers)

Sorry if this has been posted already but since we have a thread of what you guys do for work, let's see what your work place/office looks like.

When I'm in garrison my office is a cubicle seen below:

But when we're out on a mission my office looks a lot different. Sometimes it looks like this:

My sis just retired a Master Sargent after 35 years in the Air Force, awesome!

I’ve got a an office with a very nice view of a pond about 30 feet beyond my window. I watch hundreds of coi swim around it, and a wide variety of birds eat the coi. Osprey, herons, eagles and comerants are all frequent visitors.

Do you know the guys at Aero Tech Engineering (at Tyndall)?

I work in a secure building where not even my phone is allowed in, so I can't take pictures of it. It's been that way most of career except when I flew missions for the Silk Purse Control Group while in England during the first Gulf War. During missions I had a window. Of course I had to kick the boom operator out of his/her refueling seat in order to look out it and it pretty much looked straight down, but, trust me I am not complaining.

I work in the same type of building, just on the east coast. could be for the same "company"

Small office in Detroit burbs, close to the airport. Been looking at the Best Chimney Co. out my window for 24 years. Probably been in this room more than any other room in my life, yikes.View attachment 226979View attachment 226980
Fax machine, corded phone, 10-key, paper map, desktop calendar, hand-written notes pinned to a cork bulletin board, venetian blinds, rolltop desk, "boom box" radio, hell - even a radio.

Where is your office located, 1985?

I can't give up my 10-key, that is a scanner not a fax machine. We have owner operators who do not even use email so naturally we do have a fax machine in the back that gets used more than I'd like to admit. Desk is old (kinda like me) blinds were put up by lady who works in office who is like 70. I don't use the radio much any more but I do use it. I'm streaming Spotify as we speak. I do like hand written notes for stuff, it's mostly how I operate. I have been doing this type of work since 1989 so let's say my office is from 1989 not 1985! You'll notice I have stereo cork boards, one on each side. The giant map was gonna go in the dumpster a few years back and it is kinda cool so I hung it up. Me and a co-worker play a game where we pick a Michigan city and give the other person 60 seconds to find it. That is harder than you think. I'll give you 60 seconds to find Herron since you have Michigan roots!

Nothing cool or interesting. Always covered in papers since I have about 8 different things I’m working on at any given moment.
