What does your office look like? (2 Viewers)

Everyday is a new office, avg 4-6 service calls a day, burner swap on a Mcdonalds fryer

I can't give up my 10-key, that is a scanner not a fax machine. We have owner operators who do not even use email so naturally we do have a fax machine in the back that gets used more than I'd like to admit. Desk is old (kinda like me) blinds were put up by lady who works in office who is like 70. I don't use the radio much any more but I do use it. I'm streaming Spotify as we speak. I do like hand written notes for stuff, it's mostly how I operate. I have been doing this type of work since 1989 so let's say my office is from 1989 not 1985! You'll notice I have stereo cork boards, one on each side. The giant map was gonna go in the dumpster a few years back and it is kinda cool so I hung it up. Me and a co-worker play a game where we pick a Michigan city and give the other person 60 seconds to find it. That is harder than you think. I'll give you 60 seconds to find Herron since you have Michigan roots!

Lol, when I started working for my company (auto-hauling) the owner didn't have computers or a phone system, and just used a notebook and white-out (we still have white-out in the supply closet)

I'm actually surprised they had indoor plumbing!

I introduced them to:

Dual-Monitor Computers
Vonage VOIP Phone System
Google Voice & Hangouts (utilized to allow multiple staff to answer from the office or on the road customer and driver calls and texts via desktop pc, laptop or smart phone)
Teletrac Navman GPS Tracking on our entire fleet
Google Sheets (for tracking our daily work assignments for each driver as well as all orders)

I imagine if they made a sitcom the owner would be looking at the computer and then start putting white-out on the screen, lol
