Sitting Out
And to add to it; What did you do with the money? Recycle it back into cards, invest it, buy yourself or someone something nice, pay some bills? LOL
With the $5800, I bought my custom ASM set in 2004 (2200 chips) and my first AR-15. The other two big wins went to payoff a car loan and into my bankroll.2/5 NLHE - $5800 over an 18 hour session at MGM Vegas. I have had similar sessions at ARIA, but not as big, or quite as long.
3/6 LHE - $32k on a bad beat jackpot
Online UB tournament back in the day - $18k on a $100 buy-in in a re-buy tournament which I did not re-buy.
Biggest losing session at 2/5 NLHE - $2400
Best ever cash session was a thermonuclear hot $2/$5 run in the Aria where I went in at 5:00 A.M. and played for five hours until my wife texted me that she was awake. Ran $300 into $4500-ish.

When my wife texted me she asked how I was doing, I responded with a pic of my stack. Her response was, “get up. You’re done.”
For tournament I had a nice hit last summer on Ignition in a MTT

My wife has said that EXACT same thing when she checked in on my at ARIA. "You've won enough, you're done." I wasn't sure if the other players were relieved or pissed that I was leaving with as many racks of red and some green as I could carry.Best ever cash session was a thermonuclear hot $2/$5 run in the Aria where I went in at 5:00 A.M. and played for five hours until my wife texted me that she was awake. Calculated early wake up. Only Vegas trip I ever made with the Mrs so I had to balance table time with us time. She likes to sleep in so I thought it might be lucrative to crash a table while everyone else was beat up from an all nighter. Ended up working beautifully.Early wake up at 5 AM or never went to bed?
I can tell you mine was pissed lol. I was taking like half of the money on the table with meMy wife has said that EXACT same thing when she checked in on my at ARIA. "You've won enough, you're done." Come practice at my home gameI've never had a winning session.
I keep trying though....
FTFY.Her response was, “I've seen your chips so now I don't care if you lose it all. Your ass is taking me to a nice restaurant and a show tonight.”
I'm stealing this idea. My wife is usually early to bed, so when we go together, I typically drop her at the room about 10:00pm then go play for a few hours. It would probably work better if I went to sleep with her, got up early, and got my game on while I was fresh and everyone else was tired.Caluculated early wake up. You know me, I am not a morning person. I love the idea and want to try it, but realistically I'll probably slip back into my late night ways.I leave on Sunday with the wife for Vegas and as good of an idea as this sounds seems like an impossible task. Who wants to wake up at 5am on vacation? I do that everyday. I'd rather stay up till 5am as I don't get to do that often.
