Community has less to do about "my stuff" and more about the general banter in my opinion. But again, my definition isn't everyone's. It's my mine. I'm Chaos Neutral, so I just get to post memes and gifs when shit hits the fan.

Edit - I've always said we are a family of 2000. And in that, it doesn't mean we always get along daily. That's impossible by the dynamic. Yes, in having that large of a family, there will always be fractions and groups... But when someone actively bashes and states it's not a community, that gets me salty. In the end, we all live and die together in this group.

@Marhault and I went a few rounds of bickering when he joined up, but it didn't stop him from PMing me asking about chip design and advise, and our friendship grew from there. In the end, the division was nothing we didn't figure out and grew from. I don't even remember why we bickered.... maybe I needed a snickers.

And a few might say what I do during these doesn't help, but I try and always lighten the mood with trolling until I get sassy. Then I'll actually start up. It's my process. This feels like the "friend" you had when you were a kid that would get livid when he didn't like what was happening and would take his toys with him and not let anyone play with them. And we are better then that. People can do with what they want, and if that's the plan.. cool. But posting it with private PMs over a literal non-issue when the other party was using ... Dare I say it, Grace and respect is just not gonna fly with me.

To each his own, as you said. WW helped me out in a big way to get about 5000 chips shipped to Germany, simply out of generosity. That's community. Not everyone is into the same kind of banter as you, but that doesn't mean they're less welcome around here.

This isn't the first huge nonblowup we've had over petty issues, and I take that in account. I dont think anyone here is bad. But this last long winded post should not be defended or accepted. But again, that's on each person.

If ya wanna chat in PM, we prob should keep beating the horse when everyone's diverting to pRon. This post needs the divert....

How strange. WW seems like a great person to consider you as a friend, and does seem fair in amicable dealings, whether purchases, sales, etc.

He came in, was recognized as a big player. In that regard, he curated his own experience, his own threads. At the very beginning, even softball jokes not even lobbied at his expense were met with derision, i.e. how dare you. And he was met with 0 backlash from the community. It's the internet, if and when anyone else here is unable to handle a joke, those folks have often been gently roasted.

WW obviously has lots of time and experience, and can dig up some good stuff. But we've also seen several times about his sneak peaks of various items, and how he might let folks in on his source later. But the source is a huge manufacturer and sharing that info to start with other people wouldn't have limited in any way his pricing or access. Yes I totally believe WW was acting that way in good faith as how could he know it wasn't some secret source and didn't want his action blown up, but still if anyone else were to say those same things and act that way in good faith (but they were a bit off), there would have been some jokes.

In the last month alone, how many people have been told, you don't have control over your thread, folks can say what they want, etc. It's several, and that's just from my perusing. Yet, noone would dare levy that same comment or charge (or they never had prior to this blowup) to WW.

So, this guy makes himself prob the most known or prominent chipper on the site in a short time and is upset if he hears his name whispered in the alley or put down. So he can't handle a bad emoji on a post. So he feels the need if he's slighted or senses a lie to completely blow up on someone, attempting to sully them to a point where others question their integrity in every deal. So what? He had cool chips and cool pr0n, and was treated extraordinarily different than any other chipper old or new. This is on the community as a whole, not WW.

There's a big difference between loving someone's pr0n and journey and blatantly deepthroating 8 inches. And most of you got nuts on your chin.

(Edit: and yes I've messed up before, and everyone has different interpretations of what a good member is, and yadda yadda. Bottom line, I watched person after person go back on previous posts, go after folks and then let those same actions pass here, and basically just have 0 integrity or multiple standards. This is not at all levied towards folks like mamba, or jeep, or steppen, or puddle, folks who made connections and became friends with WW. This is directed towards the masses who lost all sense of self and standard when faced with cool pictures. Y'all like Abu in the Cave of Wonders.)

All this tension and multi-lateral bitterness comes out of people hunting for secondary market items in short supply.
This could have been a peaceful and loving community if everyobody just got their customized or off-the-shelf CPCs/Key Wests.
There could even be a seperate forum for them.

This poem is making me a bit blue. Its been almost exactly a year since my last live poker game...SQM 2020 last February.

:( (oops...yep, I used the frowny emoticon...is it too soon?)

I think I can retire sooner since I've saved so much money over the last year for no rebuys :)
