Windwalker’s Chipping Journey in Pr0n0grAph1C Detail (8 Viewers)

I think that's a valid opinion and feeling.

I, personally, find great joy in discovering chips that can extend a lineup in both directions. There's something magical about finding an odd chip from somewhere that seems to perfectly fit in the mold of a set that's already great. I find it a fulfilling and creative exercise. It doesn't take away from the original set (because none of that is changed,) but when you find the right chip, it can be quite lovely.
Totally agree.

I'm pretty sure that's just a photoshopped CVB $2.
chip guide seems to be lacking the secondary $1 or frac if those are even "real"......

I'm not disagreeing with you that some sets do benefit from being extended and probably deserve to be extended like the examples you have shared it was more to the point of not every set needs to be extended just for extension's sake.

At the end of the day, the great thing about this hobby is you get to do what you want with it and make it your own. If you want to extend chipsets go for it. I will still enjoy helping PCFers identify chips that work or don't in lineups regardless of my opinion if a set should be extended or not.

FWIW. I not sure how much contrast there is between the $25 and the NOP $1k but it could be a candidate to be part of the set.

The $0.25 and $1 chips are both milled hot stamps I created for this set. The quarters are NCC $25 chips, the dollars are Vegas World free play $1 chips (I think).

There are no “real” $1 chips available for a playable set.

I think the set is perfect the way it is. Not every set you own has to be able to play all the stakes or the majority of the stakes you play.

Given the amount of sets / racks at your disposal you can always pick a set to suit the stakes. Its kind of like picking a wine to go with fish or a different wine for steak.

I can understand finding a replacement you need for a denom to make a set playable but with a store of value chip like a $500 thats effectively the crown jewel of a set to be a "fake" gets my own OCDs going.

With that being said I still look forward to seeing what you come up with.
I'm laughing out loud at your post given what your avatar is :) Looks pretty f-ing cool though...

In all honesty, I 100% agree with you. I’m still trying to get my guys to play $5/$5 just so I don’t have to relabel a $1…..

If the garden city chips haven’t sold yet, I’m interested.

What green is the base?

From the eBay listing, I believe it was Indian Blue but has gold specks/flakes in it? Obviously Jeep will know better.

I was also going to ask what happened to this little guy since it appears to be missing:

Great pickup, especially since show-stopper $25s are not easy to find!

Thanks. I don’t know if I have seen Indian Blue in person but it looks amazing.
