Windwalker’s Chipping Journey in Pr0n0grAph1C Detail (36 Viewers)

But God knows if you can identify "TSP" as an ingredient across the continents, among super-market products.
For example, "mineral oil" in Europe would get you some (hard-to-find, anyway) obsolete lubricant for very old internal combustion engines (ages-old trucks).

So what? If you don't add detergents from the package marked TSP, you don't have to care what may or may not actually be in it.

You 'll have me now go to the supermarket again tomorrow.
Which category/range of products should I be examining?

Krish have you played a full set of CSQ molds sir? For me hands down that is by far the best of their molds followed by Diamond Square (those Black Cats you played in Dallas) then Scrown, the jockeys are cool, but the B mold has a lot of grip (very textured like the A mold)

Still kind of a noob I was curious, is there a difference between MD-50 and Diamond Square?
Two names for the same mold.

This is where my tinkering has now reached. Generally happy with it. The $25 and hundos are my workhorses, so made them the stars of the bunch (to me, anyway.)

I like that arrangement of inlay shapes. Much better than the previous iteration, IMHO. A little concerned about how the white-gear-on-white will work out for the hundo.

I think I have one. I can't remember if I sold it or not. Here's the alt version, by the way.

I think the charcoal > black makes a huge difference, the black just looks really stark with the rest. My 2c, the white and canary $500 was great, I think the chocolate darkens the chip a lot when everything else is really bright

This is a me thing, but I really think the 1k being black detracts from the set. With a Cali set you get a lot of flexibility when it comes to higher denoms and the colors you can choose and black just seems meh. I think a green or another bright color would fit much better.

Agreed.

Hahaha, I was just kidding. I’m debating between the B-mold and the jockey. I like the feel of the B mold, but I like the look of the jockey.

They are taking orders for H and Jockey right now. David estimated about 6 months for my H mold order.

You mentioned CSQ being too busy, I have a full set of CSQ Rounders and they look and feel great. Actually don’t even notice the mold much when they are in play. I think it’s easy to over analyze the design of the mold looking at a blank or seeing a blown up picture on your computer screen.

+1. I always thought it was too busy as well and now I have a few thousand ordered

This lineup is much more pleasing to the eyes. The Jack Cincy snapper while a fine chip alone seems to draw too much attention away from the other chips.

I actually think the original line-up is much better. While the BTP snapper is a killer chip on it's own, I think the original line-up is lights-out!
I don't think the base color of the BTP fits the line-up vibe nearly as well. #TeamBright

The original lineup with the Strat $1 is going to be the winner IMO.

Strats look really nice next to yellow chips and the Cinci snappers. I mocked it in with a potential set a while back, but they are destined elsewhere and my aim ironically became FLV $1s. Arc Yellow is just such an amazing color.

Yea looking at the two next to each other you guys are right. The BTP snapper is just too subdued for the rest of the set.

If you go with the Strat $1, you'll be losing some of the pop on that denomination. I think that little bit of orange on the FLV $1 helps that chip fall in line with the others.

Revised lineup with the BTP secondary snapper as the $25. (Thanks, @Chippy McChiperson for the test barrel!) Still waiting on the Strat $1 to test for the $1 chip.

Previous lineup, for comparison:

@Windwalker I haven’t been following this too closely but what about the Flamingo $1 (spotted bird) as the $1, great blue, bright spots, THC, beachy…
