What’s the deal with those chips from 3rd row from the bottom? Why there’s different progression on edges? Are they from different years tourneys?

So out of the treasure trove of WSOP chips that have hit the market, have any of the pink 50,000s from 2007 shown up? The peach 25,000s from the same year are floating around, which makes me optimistic.

A couple people have been searching for those, and I don’t think any have popped up in this current release. At least not yet.
Yeah, there were a few chips that don't seem to have been a part of the eBay lot.
T25, T50k (pink), T250k (almond) all come to mind.

These are three that are missing from my 'complete' set. I have notes that say "never seen" for the latter two and "not seen this cycle" with the former.

Add the 100k Hawaii Flower RFID chip and that is all of the missing primaries (other than the elusive and mysterious T5.
Yea I haven’t seen it yet but I don’t remember it being a primary, i only remember it being brought in during the final table like the green and blue 25k rfid chip for just one year at the main event FT

I define Primary as anything used with the "Primary" set of core chips used at the WSOP during the RIO years.

From what I gathered this was a few people who needed the cash and have been sitting on these chips for awhile. We won’t see a big “dump” again like this. Maybe a few singles or a small set. But there isn’t a closet @ the Rio where seller kept going back to get more.

I’m not entirely sure they double in price. They were as expensive as sets get. Hypothetically $15-$20/chip. That’s a $10k set for 500 chips. Not sure anyone would pay $15-$20k for a 500 chip set.Those Rio playable sets have just 2x’d in value at least.

Yeah he does. His main personal set is JD Rhc lol even if he claims it’s not, it’s the one set we see him play w the most.

Yeah that’s what he says. But still seems to be the one he plays w the most lol.
Anyway. WW isn’t buying these to @ekricket point. As much as they r rhc or he doesn’t chip anymore. And I don’t think anyone is buying these for flipping. Retail was high enough.
