Your Beer of Choice? (25 Viewers)

Around 3 pm you will probably be out of luck for Zombie Dust. If you check their website they keep it fairly up to date with what is available for pick up. Expect to wait for a little while, though at 3pm I don't know if this will still be the case. Always a line when they first open. I would say its worth the stop just because it is only about 10 mins each way out of your way.

If I happen to be awake around that time I will meet up with you at the brewery. If the wait for the restaurant isn't insane and you are hungry around then they have excellent food and more beers than are available at the pick up window. :)

I've been checking 3F's site and never saw them announcing Zombie Dust for pick up :( Do you know if they sell it without any announcement? Like a small quantity every day until it's sold out? Love to get some but I also want to try some of their other stuff for sure!

It would be awesome if you could meet us there Tom!! I'll keep you posted on our timeline as we never know how much traffic we'll encounter on the road... And yeah, 3pm is a great time to have some of their food with their beers... Btw, if you're ever around NW Michigan, Short's brewery has absolutely outstanding food to go with their great beers... Again man, I'll keep you posted...

I haven't had any of Bell's stuff and that makes me sad.

WHAT?!?!?!? :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

I don't think I've ever found a nationwide available IPA which I like more than Two-Hearted Ale... And Hopslam challenges any DIPA out there imo! But then again, I don't have 3F at my door step, LOL!!

that's my go to beer. Love that shit. A local place has it on happy hour. Three bucks for a 25 ouncer.

I take it 3F's is where were stopping. I'm game for having a beer/late lunch before finishing our trip.

Yep, here's the brewery site: http://www.3floyds.com

It would be great to get some Zombie Dust to go with your Zombie set Bill ;)

We can play by ear regarding late lunch but a couple of good beers is never in question! LOL!!!

Zombie Dust will be up on the site if it is available. I will be keeping my eye out this week to try and pick some up. I haven't had much luck in that area the last couple times I went there so maybe I am due. I have a buddy that works there, but even he can't set some aside for me. :(

My brother has tried a lot of Bell's stuff and really likes it. I rarely drink these days so I don't try too many new things. I have never been to NW Michigan, but I will keep that in mind. Always looking for a good weekend road trip. :)

Keep me posted on Thursday. No guarantee I can make it, but will do my best. I will also let you know if I happen to score some Zombie Dust before then.

Hoegaarden is my favorite beer however I have light up signs of Labatt Blue and Colt 45 with Billy Dee Williams ("It works every time ")

My new go to if I can find it anywhere near me.

My standard for a few years has just been Michelob Ultra.

Landshark with Mexican food.

Have some Lagunitas IPA in the fridge. I'm trying, but I think I'll always be a regular beer kind of guy.

so summer is just about over, but ballast point's belgian white - wahoo - has been super tasty lately.

slightly more citrusy than a typical white, but if you're looking for a calm character, it's very nice.

Very different, but I've really enjoyed each of the bottles I've had lately. Nice if you don't want to decide between a beer and a cocktail.

Haven't tried it but I'm a fan of what I've had from Ballast Point so far, and summer here still has almost 60 more days to it.

Definitely had a big stretch of a high life time during my life. It was $3.99 a sixer, couldn't go wrong....especially since I didn't know what good beer tasted like. I also used to drink lucky lager, mickeys big mouths, dos equis, lowen brau, heinekens, coors, mgd, bud lights, buds, and whatever else that was tolerable at the time. Here is what i used to consider "good beer": Petes wicked ale, sierra nevada pale ale (still want one from time to time), Arrogant bastard from stone, red nectar, anything from lost coast, etc yadda yadda. All crap compared to what I drink now; however, I am ridiculously spoiled living in a town with 20+ breweries all competing to make the BEST tasting beer ever. Life is hard......lol

I had a pretty good ale in Colorado this summer - Blue Moon Cinnamon Horchata Ale - it wasn't all spicy and foo foo, but a nice mellow ale.

I'm with you Mark - my favorite beer time of the year. My favorite in the above pic is the one from Left Hand Brewery.

I might have to try Dibs Imperial Red.
