I like the pie because it adds a bit of absurdity to it. Not that the whole concept of zombies isn't absurd in in the literal sense, but it adds a WTF touch to it. Similar to the zombie driving the race car.
Package arrived!

Packaging took a hell of a beating in transit, but all plaques appear to be undamaged. They also sent along samples of their other sizes, so of course now I want more...
Our house is a shambles right now as we are remodeling the games library. Nearly 1000 games and books plus shelving is all being stored wherever we could find space in the house so I cannot set up tables for proper pr0n as of yet.
Now if the US Post Office/Canada Post can get off their collective duffs and get my sample chip to Gear, I can get the chip portion executed...
I'm in Brooklyn! Doubtful I can host a game, but at the very least I can take you to an underground club. Rake is extortionate, but the games can be fun. @SixSpeedFury?Now that the plaques are in, the Zombies are kicking off their world tour!
The First stop will be New York in early September, provided someone is willing to host two Zombies for a game, and in return they will receive a Zombie World Edition sample plaque. So if you're in the NY area (preferably Brooklyn or easily accessible via train), and willing to host, PM me and we can hammer out details.

There's a reason there's not as many fat people in NY as there are in Nashville. Since we're both former Chicago residents, we're well versed in multiple forms of public and semi-public (Uber/Lyft) transport.September MIGHT be doable, provided the missus and I are up and running in our new place by then once the wedding is done. As far as accessibility, to reach me from Brooklyn via public transportation you'd have to take a train, and then a bus, and then walk. So yeah, you'd get your exercise in lol.
Melee event in FEB? I'd gladly play in a sat. event with them. I'm sure @k9dr wouldn't mind.

And I can also give you plenty of food/restaurant suggestions.
The US Open is a great time. I went once and it was an all day event lasting until after midnight. There's a reason there's not as many fat people in NY as there are in Nashville. Melee attendance is practically confirmed if the dates hold. We'll hit the Food and Wine Fest in Miami and then drive up to the Melee.
Food suggestions are always welcome! So far we have...
DiFara Pizza
Nathan's Famous (We'll be spending an afternoon at the Boardwalk/Aquarium)
Baba's Pierogies
The Clover Club (also a good name for a hot-stamp chip)
Brooklyn Bowl
Blueprint
Tone Cafe'
Peter Lugers
2 days at the US Open
Plus a mystery Dinner, Brunch, and evening at a jazz club, courtesy of Mrs. Zombie's college friends.
Even with all that, we still have 2 lunches unplanned, and everything is loosely planned (i.e. we're not married to anything except Peter Lugers and the US Open dates).

@Poker Zombie - timeline for receipt/application/pr0n of relabeled chips and plaques altogether?
I can absolutely being the set along since I'll be driving. As offered in this thread, anyone that hosts the Zombies for a night of poker will be entitled to a free sample set of the plaques (upon request) as part of the Zombie World Tour (supplies are limited).
There will be no samples of the chips unfortunately - they're in really, really tight supply.
Once my vacation time recoups, I'll very likely take you up on that offer!
The effort comes to fruition today. The Zombie Poker Club, World Edition...
