They are injection molded clay. Not high temp/pressure like paulson's or cpc.

The manufacturing process is the same as any China clay. But, and I have no way to prove this, I'm certain the materials used, the ingredients, involve much less plastic and more kaolin.

But in all seriousness, why are these called "compression clays"? They are noticeably more clay feeling than Majestics, and less crumbly and brittle than spirit molds. Just a better material?

I prefer the CPC that I’ve seen and felt over Paulson chips. And I prefer being creative customizing my chips so I’m pretty happy with the 8v.
