Klobberer
Full House
Flattop...nuff said. I'm lucky, I'm 6-2 and a solid 225 and way more than willing to call a "let's take this outside" bluff. I've always found that serious badasses are quiet. F that guy.

Real tough guys don't usually tell you how tough they are. I'd stay at the table, take his chips and ignore his braggadocio. If physically confronted...that's on him. Anyone brings a gun to my house and they are off the list. Just what I want...a shootout with my family in the house over a disagreement or a few hundred bucks.I am sure that I could beat him in any footrace or competitive physical task with rules. Street fighting a guy that has been trained to take down aggressive people and may or may not have a gun on him (remember, this dude was a cop) is a whole different ball of wax.

WHAT!! Hell...you're not usually even a blip on the shit talking radar at my game. You're pretty laid back, so If you're more subdued at this game, I have no idea what this guy's problem is.-As far as how much of a smart ass I am here, I am waaaayyyy worse at Seeking Alpha's game, because that's all shit talking fun people. It's fun, that's all. This game I try to mind my manners.
Just a dumb ass “BAR” player @grebe. Glad you got it straight. Keep emptying the dude’s pockets!I talked with a guy (Purple Rain) that was at the game and is familiar with him. He said he's just a hateful guy that says stuff like this all the time... Never has gone any further and says I have nothing to worry about. Actually said "Flattop" threatened to gut him one time. Added on that he has diabetes and could have mood swings based on sugar fluctuations.
People mentioned my possible image there, Rain said nothing he has never heard anyone talk negative about me. He's there every week.
He told me the game has been going for 14 years and nobody has ever thrown a punch, it's just a bunch of talk. They pretty much let the game police itself, which I believe is horrible, but it's been going for over 20 years, so who am I?
I plan to continue playing there and steer clear of Flattop, unless I can make it to Seeking Alpha's game or find a better local substitute.
Thanks all for the discussion.
In all fairness Kevin, you and Gunny are an entire other level of “shit talk”!WHAT!! Hell...you're not usually even a blip on the shit talking radar at my game. You're pretty laid back, so If you're more subdued at this game, I have no idea what this guy's problem is.
I like going the Tombstone route. Challenge him to a spelling contestI am sure that I could beat him in any footrace or competitive physical task with rules. We are Fireball level shit talkers. In all fairness Kevin, you and Gunny are an entire other level of “shit talk”!
His next comment is this: "how about you go into the kitchen there and get a nice big mouthful of SHUT THE F*** UP
Well at least next time you’ll be prepared. Rile him up with your play, and when he undoubtedly lets loose the “go into the kitchen and grab a mouthful of STFU”...he's just a hateful guy that says stuff like this all the time
I look forward to "guy with a broken leg". That could be useful in the future!
Probably menopause too.Added on that he has diabetes and could have mood swings based on sugar fluctuations.
