Fair warning the colors could put people on tilt lol.

Trying to decide which way to go.

Looks cool!
I’ve always been a big fan of white inlays. But I’ve never loved the harsh transition from white to clay. There are a number of ways of dealing with this - a border, a gradient, a subtle background pattern. But your aged look here might be best. It's a simple adjustment, but it looks so much better than the bright white, in my opinion.

I’ve asked the designer for some texture to both inlays, I’ll post when he gets back to me.

My personal belief is that CPC bases are heavily controlled by edge spot and label colors. My only worry is that aged is heavily yellow and is gonna dull down the base colors. Make everything more muted.

I'd like the "aged' if it weren't a solid color like that. Add some weathering to the white and such. I know @arch3r did something like this on one of his latest cash sets.

Yes I did. I went with more of a "grunge" weathered look than just a faded label.

left is the grungy, right is just faded. I went the full grungy. I'm super happy how they turned out.

@Gear was awesome with adding the grunge to my original submission, sending samples of both styles and ultimately ( as usual ) printing up a quality product.

Got them into play at @krafticus after tourney cash game.

I’m going to CPC for this set so I will need to make bcc all my adjustments prior to ordering.

I love your final choice!!

Either of the latest two. But, I also dress up like a 19th century cowboy, so, ah...... yeah. If it were me, I'd probably go with the upper.

As others have said, it depends on the chip and inlay graphics, but I'm pretty partial to an off-white gradient for more 'classic' looking designs. For my set I went with the gradient.

A touch aged off the white. The original yellow is too dark and white is too bright.

If you’re adding a subtle aged pattern, go the way of the Nuts and make a background that allows each chip is unique.
