I feel like Gavin has slipped a bit. I have been chasing him for 1 replacement chair for 7 months now. Even though he probably should have replaced all of the backs of my chairs because of the logo being off. He will usually reply within a day or so saying he will get back to me with tracking but then he never does. About a month ago he sent me a tracking number but when I pulled it up it was already delivered to another state and the FedEx picture of the delivery was very clear it was not a chair (very small box). I sent him that and he again said he would get back to me. The original buying experience was great. He was responsive, chairs shipped on time, I had tracking info that I could follow, etc.

I assumed being a replacement chair I am low priority or maybe he is hoping I will give up and go away. Surprised to hear he is also not communicating well on new orders.

I contacted him 3 times...each time he would get back to me for a quote but didn't.
There must be a better alternative.. back on the hunt.

I bought 8 of these in all black. One or two came damaged, and they were easy to work with and quickly sent replacement pieces. Super happy with them. I think Gavin was the guy’s name I chatted with.

Sorry you’re having this trouble. I did he to ask him a few times for shipping numbers (he kept saying he’ll look into it as well), but all worked out in the end. The few pieces that broke in my shipments were small and plastic, so sending those replacements were less of a big deal.

Both the 1/22 and 1/29 notices had a Fedex tracking number. Using that tracking number, I can only see that a label has been created at Fedex in Fontana, CA.
Also, I had an embroidered logo added to the back of the chairs and on the first attempt, I thought the image was done too small. Back and forth a couple times with Gavin and he corrected it to a larger size.
So, my experience has been very positive and pretty much in line with what several here have had. Hopefully will see them show up on my door in about a month!

I am close to 45 days from the day I paid, and was told last friday that they had arrived at the US port. I am not smart enough to figure out how to track it myself, but I can see the FedEx labels that were created in Syracuse when they were dispatched from China but there has been no update since those labels were created.

Still hoping to have the chairs within the 60 day estimate from date of payment. Gavin remains responsive to my inquiries.

Same experience. The Fontana FedEx code was created while still in China.

I’m not sure, but it’s happening on 6 of 8 chairs to varying degrees, which is especially concerning since most of the chairs have only been used for one night. Oh man. I guess you know how the backs are attached to the chairs and confident you can remove and replace them?

Just received notification that my chairs cleared customs and should be arriving at the house next Wednesday.

This Saturday evening will be my last game on the old chairs. They have served us well these many years, but will not likely be missed.

Me and my 17 yr old son were able to get them together in about 5 min a chair. They did not come with lock washers so I ran to Lowes to pick some up.

No issues with any of the pieces or vinyl. Boxes arrived almost completely unscathed.I am very pleased with the product, and will post photos when the lat chair arrives.

I paid for the chairs on December 19, and they were in my driveway by February 4. Not too bad.

It could be a while before that last chair makes it to my home. Tracking says tomorrow, but there is no way thats going to happen if the package remains in AZ as the location history states. We will be testing them Saturday evening. I am actually considering ordering 2 more for a total of 10.

Man those are NICE!!! I really want to get some that stack. I don't have a dedicated spot for my table and 8-10 chairs.

I BELIEVE it is 90" x 44", but I will check this evening when I get home. A friend made that for me about 5 years ago and I have a vague memory of trying to maximize table size for the available space I had and that being the largest I could comfortably fit.

Thanks. Was just wondering as the 7 chairs fit nicely now and you've even left the space for the 8th chair. I also think you could add 9 & 10 on the ends and not be crowded.
My table is 48 X 96 and I have 10 chairs coming so just curious how well the chairs fit around the table. I think they will be good

Chairs finally arrived a couple weeks ago.
Not happy about how long it took, but I have no complaints about the quality. Super comfy and really raises the overall quality of the room

What was the general consensus of you and your players based on comfortability?

The players appear very happy with them. We just had a second session last night for about 8 hours of play. The padding on these chairs is fairly firm, but not overly so. I am not sure that my back is going to allow me to tolerate the amount of give on these, as it would appear that my shitty old chairs with next to nothng on padding worked better for my back than these. After about 6 hours, I started getting fidgity becasue of twitches in my back.

I gotta say, before placing the order I was very concerned with ordering these directly from China for a variety of reasons, but it would appear that none of those concerns came to fruition. The chairs are very well made, very sturdy and very comfortable for my players without back issues. Would definately order again.

Just received a notice from FedEx that my delivery is (12 pieces) is scheduled for Monday, 3/3. Assuming they arrive then, that will be 62 days from payment. My Including embroidered logo on the back that had to be modified after the first attempt. So, pretty much in line with the OP's experience, but I know not everyone had the same. I will say the time on the water in my case was 19 days, which was less than I expected but I don't really have experience in that timing, just figured it would be closer to 4 weeks.

Chairs have all arrived. They did arrive in 2 different deliveries by FedEx, 6 boxes each. I would say that the boxes were in pretty decent shape given the ocean journey and I haven’t seen any damage to any of the chairs. All parts were there, and I did end up with an extra set of the wheel base, for what it’s worth.
My son put them together, took maybe 5-7 minutes a chair, so fairly easy. Have them all put together and up in the poker room now. Just under $1700 with shipping for 10 chairs, with logo embroidered on the back. The two shipments arrived 59 and 62 days after payment.
All in all, it was a fairly good experience. I’m did have to correct the logo size from Gavin’s first attempt, but he did that with no pushback at all. The first thought I had when sitting in them was the bottom was a little firm but I’m used to Gasser banquet, stackable chairs. I think during a poker session the firmness will be good, and the chair backs are comfortable and flex a little bit. I reallly like them! One of the best investments I've made to the room and the game I think.

Just placed order with Gavin/Alibaba. $1728 for 10 chairs, with logo on the back of the chairs, delivered to South Carolina. Assume they should arrive the first week of March, if the timelines in the thread hold true. FWIW, that was the original price quoted and when I inquired about the PCF -5 he stated that was already included (I had already let him know I was ordering based on the thread here).

The logo is kinda amateur hour I suppose. Did it myself and I am not a graphics guy by any stretch of the imagination. See below for sneak peek. (My game is "Second Friday Poker", naturally, that way all the players know to plan that night accordingly each month).

Any idea what the price would've been without the name, logo stitching? Or how much the extra cost was that per chair? Thanks

I don’t recall exactly but the upcharge wasn’t that much actually. I “think” it was around $10/chair plus a $50 art setup fee maybe?
