Any members collecting hockey cards? I use to collect a ton back in the day but drifted away from it. Seeing how popular card collecting is right now, I bought some packs and am getting back into it slowly. Can’t believe the market for cards right now, it is insane. Some cards I sold back in the day I really wish I didn’t with the price of them now. One card I really regret selling was my Alex Ovechkin young guns. Pretty sure I let it go for under $300 :( Don’t ask how much that card goes for now a days. Anyways, if you collect let’s see what ya got!

I have a bunch I collected a long time ago; I'll dig them out.

I collected baseball cards when I was a kid... My kids played hockey more than baseball and I tried to get them into card collecting, but they just never caught the bug. I still have some hockey cards I originally purchased for them... and an O-Pee-Chee factory set from the year each of them were born...

I have a few Gretzky rookie cards, and a Lemieux RC, and a Jagr RC. Other than that, I think I have maybe a few hundred random low value cards from the 90s. Most of my collection is baseball and basketball.

The GOAT

Bump for some sports card talk.

Love sports cards. Started with My dad taking me around to all the shops in and around Boston/Northshore as a kid and never really stopped.

Tom Brady & Jim Rice are the 2 players I collect mostly.I like hockey and basketball as well.

Mosaic, Prizm, National Treasures, Spectra are my favorites at the moment.

What’s everyone else ripping these days?

I wish I had the time and energy to go through my collections. I have so many hockey cards it’s crazy but most are from 25-30 years ago when everyone and their mother was making cards so not sure how they would value out now.

88-92 heavy printed years but always a demand for good players and good condition cards. Pre 80s in any sport depending on card n condition the values are creeping to skyrocketing whenever someone overpays on something at auction. Pokémon, Jordan,Kobe, Brady, Giannis,Luka,Ja morant, the list goes on the right one in todays market could cash u out on a million. There’s ig influencers sitting on 100s of bitcoins they grabbed at 20$ putting bounty’s on cards these days in the 7 figures. Wild times

Nothing pre 80’s that I know of. I have so many boxes though so who really knows.

Amazing with all the dopey Canadians out here that no one liked the picture of Bobby Orr in perfect geometric form .
