Barrington poker table thread (11 Viewers)

Another difference is weight. The brown one for $229 is 82 lbs. The $299 table is 100 lbs. I do like the look of the black felt. Though I'd be tempted to re-felt it with suited speed cloth.

I picked up a 2nd table, and the new one from Walmart is on the left. I have the original? Order of topper and can confirm the new table is just a little bigger..if I measured right the new table is 32x74 surface. Does that sound right to others with new table?

Hadn't seen the old rail in the same pic with the new rail. I want one. I do have one table still in the box. I'll use up my one time!

Maybe the new and better rail is the reason wayfair was selling the old model for $90 shipped a few months ago lol.

I hope not or I used up my one time. I kind of doubt it. Pricing screw up I'd bet. They could have moved them for quite a bit more.

Just bought a new one of these from walmart that got delivered today. Finally going to be able to crack it open tomorrow, excited and interested to see if it has the new rail or the old rail...

That will have new rail. That's the one I grabbed a few weeks ago, see https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/barrington-poker-table-thread.30910/page-32#post-2302704

Really happy with mine so far after the first game on it, as were my players.

I’m digging that new armrest

Just played on my barrington with the new armrest on it for the first time. It looks good in person and is super comfortable. We played & I dealt for 6 1/2 hours. I found it very comfortable the entire time. Also as a side note - we had 8 people and fit perfectly on the 84" table. I dealt the entire time and hardly had to stretch to reach chips or anything as a person who is 5'9. I am a little concerned about size when I move back home. The group that I will be playing with will be around 9 deep, but almost everyone is larger there. Not sure if the barrington will hold up then, but we'll see!

Finally got it set up today (forgot to take pictures, I'm such a dummy) and it is a great table! Armrests are very comfortable, dealt nicely, barely have to reach for anything from the middle of the table dealer seat. Can't wait to show it off to the players I'm hosting in a couple of weeks!

Can confirm, my new table (brown felt) inner dimensions were exactly that.

Are you using a guide to help you? I’m thinking about it replacing the pleather and padding on my octagon and then my Barrington.
Not really. Honestly I took the old rails and covered right over them. I’ve been lurking on these threads long enough to have a small amount of information which was enough. Supposedly the marine vinyl is hard to work with but wasn’t too bad. Take your time, use a lot of staples and hope you have good grip strength.
