Yeah, it's the same size as the others. I prefer playing 8 comfortably - could do 10 but it's very tight.
Looks nice!Just finished upgrading the cupholders. I need to fix some of the wrinkles around the cupholders but I'll do that later this week.

I followed the instructions on this thread and it wasn't that bad. I removed the cup holders with a heat gun then drilled a hole in the middle of the cup holder so I knew where to drill the hole from the bottom. The challenging part I didn't realize I would have to do is cut the metal support beam on the bottom to be able to fit four of the cup holders. Took me a couple hours and cost about $50 bucks. Definitely worth itLooks nice!
How hard was it to replace the cup holders? What did you have to do?
It’s not too hard as long as you have the right tools and use the guides on this thread. I was scared that I might ruin the table but it came out perfectly fine. You may need to trim the poles underneath but it’s easy to undo the screws and use a pipe cutter.Looks nice!

The only Barrington I’ve seen is at a local BJ’s. Small, 4-person table with cards and 100 dice chips. Definitely not the quality of the other Barringtons and was quite small.
Y'all have been helpful in providing some info for the table so I registered just to give some insights back.
First, Houston Sugar Land Costco has the tables in stock as of yesterday (Saturday). Must've had 10+. LEDs, different tops, and carrying case are allc nice luxury. Even has physical button on the side for the lights.
Second, I have the ESPN table and currently in the process of upgrading to COB LEDs with dimmer/USB for power, bigger cupholders, new speedcloth and vinyl material.
So with any tables with LEDs, there is a 1/4" of particle board that sits between the table and the padded armrest--its where you attach the LED strip on the inside edge. Be careful when drilling using the 3 5/8" holesaw as it will provide a tight clearance for that sandwiched particle board. Worst case, you drill too far into the inside and the LED strip will have no backing to attach to.
After a few investigatory visits, and major wife convincing that it's both my wedding anniversary gift and my Christmas gift , I pulled the trigger today and bought it here in Huntington Beach, CAI And I am glad I got it not a moment later, because they have been selling out fast, and I took the second to last one! The box is really big and heavy. I will attempt to have self control and not open it until Christmas day and not use it until after! And it will be perfect timing for when my other part of the Christmas gift (my first ever Mirage Tina web mold hybrid ceramics set from Justin at Broken Arrow) arrives in December after this October group buy! God bless Costco. I still use my original poker set I purchased from there nearly 20 years ago, which is honestly much better quality than regular dice chips. At my last poker game I told my buddies I was about to pull the trigger on a $400 set from China and they thought I was a bit crazy, and thought mine was sufficient. lol. They definitely got me thinking though and debating, poker table or new chips, or both?!?! hmmm. BOTH!I was at Costco today and my wife said “no!”
Yup, COB LEDs are soooo much betterInterested in seeing the process if you're able to document with pictures. My biggest peeve is the LED's. Just recently discovered the new COB strips and thats first for sure.
Do you have links to the lights, connectors, etc?So I'm almost complete but unfornately didn't take pics of all the steps..
But here's the final almost complete project.
I'm able to get a USB adapter for rhe LEDs so I can use a battery brick to power them. Just make sure your brixk can output at 12v
Also showing CO lights on vs off. The lights makes a difference
Lmk if y'all have questions.
So here's all the stuff I've used..Do you have links to the lights, connectors, etc?
You cut the LED strip in two, correct? Which connectors did you use for this?So here's all the stuff I've used..
Speed cloth - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D7742FQ/ would not recommend. They shipped folded and I cant get the crease out.
Bag - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B58T54FB/
Bigger Cupholders - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075R76RRR/
COB LEDs 3000k color - https://www.ebay.com/itm/126486118463?var=427524025167
Dimmer - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BZ8MVB5S/
LED DC to USB-C Adapter "B 12v/DC 5521"- https://www.ebay.com/itm/315290468508?var=613760507050
I already have a USB Battery Brick that outputs 12v.
Yup. I cut it right in middle. The LED strip has pigtail on both ends. So all I had to do was strip the wires and connect to existing cord. You cut the LED strip in two, correct? Which connectors did you use for this?
I recall it was suggested to use a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive.Anyone have any tips on how to safely remove the cup holders? The newer tables seem to be harder to remove them on.
OEM cup holders are too shallow (spilled drinks)This might be a stupid question, so please excuse me if it is, since I am new here to the forum and to the poker accessories and paraphernalia addiction...But what is wrong with some of the these new poker tables such as the new Costco Barrington one, right out of the box? Is it just the people want to soup up their tables and make them more comfortable and swankier, or is it un-usable as is, or am I missing something?
I think the biggest upgrade for quality of life is the cupholders. The stock cupholders will only fit cans and they are super shallow. $50 bucks and a couple hours at most gives you cupholders that will fit whiskey glass or really any cups and cut back on drinks getting knocked overThis might be a stupid question, so please excuse me if it is, since I am new here to the forum and to the poker accessories and paraphernalia addiction...But what is wrong with some of the these new poker tables such as the new Costco Barrington one, right out of the box? but it sounds like you risk damaging the felt, or the rail padding, or the LED lights, no? It just looks like a lot of risk for maybe marginal reward, lol, but I guess each person has to make that judgment call on their own if it is worth it or not. thanks!I think the biggest upgrade for quality of life is the cupholders. Eh, risk of damage is low and risk of spilled drink is very very high every time you host. You can call it marginal reward, sure, but I like my players to be comfortable and these instructions were helpful.but it sounds like you risk damaging the felt, or the rail padding, or the LED lights, no? I don't have the table with led lights so I don't have to worry about that. If you have a topper you don't have to worry about damaging the felt as much either.but it sounds like you risk damaging the felt, or the rail padding, or the LED lights, no? alright, that's fair, I do want to protect my new table and purchase! I will check out the instructions! thank you!Eh, risk of damage is low and risk of spilled drink is very very high every time you host. thank you! I will have to find the starting point of the upgrade instructions in this massive thread!I don't have the table with led lights so I don't have to worry about that. If you have a topper you don't have to worry about damaging the felt as much either.
This thread has so much information it makes the upgrade incredibly easy. I didn't even try that hard and I didn't make any mistakes
Nothing wrong with using the table right out the box. You could buy side tables instead of drilling into the table to make cup holders but that can get expensive. My group likes to drink and so we have 2-3 spills everytime we play. After I’ve upgraded the cup holders I haven’t had a spill yet. Some groups are more careful and upgrading the table wouldn’t be necessary. It’s up to you if the upgrading the table is necessary. This might be a stupid question, so please excuse me if it is, since I am new here to the forum and to the poker accessories and paraphernalia addiction...But what is wrong with some of the these new poker tables such as the new Costco Barrington one, right out of the box? Another less talked about advantage of the bigger cupholders... normal phone can fit in it! Unless you're rocking the Nokia 6100, you wont fit any phone in the original cupholders.I think the biggest upgrade for quality of life is the cupholders.
