And now a reading from the third letter of Ben to the Corinthians...My first bit of advice... and this is a good one!! Never read my posts!! They are all God awful books
Ignore most people and buy what you like and makes you happy. Shaped inlays, leaded, paulson, spot progression, mint, it's all crap if you don't like it. If it makes you happy when you pull them out for a game go with it. Fuck what anybody else says.
I used to do this - until I used the =sum() function and realised how much I'd spent over the last couple years. Now I live in blissful ignoranceI stand by using a spreadsheet for your purchases and sales. It helps track your price paid when you go to sell.

Excellent advice and transferable to guitars and amps, too, lol. Keeps you aware of your spending and able to make rational decisions.I stand by using a spreadsheet for your purchases and sales. It helps track your price paid when you go to sell.
I went gung-ho and now I’m doing the research. I guess I just wanted the instant gratification! The more I read, the more I wish I had waited a bit before jumping in.Biggest point, Slow Down. Honestly most people jump in all gung-ho and waste a lot of money buying stuff without any research or knowledge. You should take at least 2-3 months and do nothing but read through as much of the forum as possible, take in all the knowledge you can before you even think about making any type of purchases.
Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, most everyone does the same thing.I went gung-ho and now I’m doing the research. I guess I just wanted the instant gratification! The more I read, the more I wish I had waited a bit before jumping in.
