Could someone with more experience/a keener eye help me gauge the wear on the Tachi Palace Cash set chips? Specifically the lower denoms?
This would be my first set, so trying to figure out what I'm getting myself into. I've got a few samples over here, ranging from near Mint, all the way down to....a couple shuffles away from basically turning into dust. Where are we on that spectrum? Appreciate it!

Very used. But they've got lots of life if you don't mind the condition.

The entire lot didn’t look too large from the pictures that were posted, definitely not like a Jack or Horseshoe haul

How big is your game that you need more than 200? Given that there does not seem to be tens of thousands of them, maybe it’s better for the community to live within the limits and not do something like make a relabel limit set that never hits the felt. Sure, it would look cool, but there’s quite a few sets that could use this spot pattern for what they are - nice hundreds to cap off a nice set.

I’m not saying you are going to do this, but it would be a shame for someone to get greedy and limit the usefulness of nice as-is chip for a few oohs and aahs in a relabel set.

I think a lot of time stuff on PCF is Eastern time zone based, like auctions? Probably just easier to standardize to that. More people are probably used to converting from Eastern to their own time zone than from Central or Mountain.

That sucks if it's like that..... My first chip room / set experience and I hope I can get one set together.

Not everything will sell out immediately, but the more sought-after or limited-quantity items usually do. Have a plan in mind before the start time, with a backup plan ready to go, and a backup to the backup. Make all your decisions ahead of time, so that when the time comes, it's just execute without having to think.
