LMAO ... no, all y'all missed the point of my post. That error message has nothing at all to do with any site crashing. It's what happens when you click "Continue Shopping" and it tries to go back to thechiproom.com ... which has nothing to do with the sale here on pokerchipforum.com.

My first ChipRoom sale in about five years. No proportional limits and an RHC that I actually wanted!
The whole process has changed appearance - I didn't notice that the sale had started for about 10 refreshes, then a lot of this^, and as an added bonus, I may have been typing in the wrong PayPal PW, but with a new computer, it seems it would have been a hassle regardless.
This is the way!

First I tried a barrel of primary $25k, got it in my shopping cart and got to select credit card, (and change from NOK to USD) but when I got to confirm purchase, they were out. I would estimate 40-50 seconds after the link came active.
I then got a barrel of primary $500s to fill up my rack and paid that.
I went back and tried a barrel $25k secondary but I got denied on the first screen. Maybe I could've tried for 10 primary or 10 secondary instead of the $500s, but I went the safe route and folded AQ...
The $25k were "cool to have" while the $500s was "OCD-must have" so overall I'm happy. And not as poor as I could've been.
I do feel kind of bad for Jim, as I'm sure some will turn around and sell these (edit: $25k) for profit within a month or two so I hope Jim has some up his sleeve that he can auction off. It's only fair that the one taking the biggest risks makes the most profit, although I do understand there are liquidity concerns he has to take into consideration.

By the time the dust cleared I ended up with a primary hsi cash set and an IOC cash set.

Thank you everyone for a successful sale! We have over 280 orders so far. We will try and knock them all out by next Wednesday or Thursday. We will be combining all orders and refunding the shipping after the orders are filled, no need to ask. The error messages everyone receives is when an item is sold out, it directs you to my website, which is currently down for maintenance. I wish it would just tell you it's sold out, but that's PayPal's way.

I agree, it’s one thing to trade off barrels/racks to make your set, but the spirit of the sale seemed to be to make these available for people at a good price.
overall it seems to be a great success though!

Well, I mean it's fair enough. Those sets have a wider audience than PCF and Jim doesn't have to spend resources on reaching those audiences while having a quick turnover.Think it'll actually take a month?
I'm seeing at least couple of those $99 sets showing up on eBay in less than that time...... priced at $300 each.
The $25ks though, almost exclusively has the entire audience here so that means that someone here bought them "from the family, and sold it back to the family - for a profit". Which again is fair enough and a (albeit small) gamble that the buyer takes, I just see profit lost for Jim.
I'm really awestruck by Jim on all of these deals. I know he does it for profit, but as far as I can tell - it could've been a lot more profit for him and less lucky people here and I choose to belive that's just because he's awesome.
I guess overall it's a good thing that other people profit on Jim's work because it kind of "expands the pie", meaning less risk for people to buy these and quicker turnover for Jim (i.e. less liquidity issues on upcoming deals), I just hope Jim get's his fair share. It might also pull more users in here, growing Jim's customer base, so I certainly won't throw the first stone. Or 5th for that matter.

It was my first chiproom sale and I can't put into words how excited I've been since the announcement.
I've rebuild all available sets in the CPC Design tool to find that perfect arrangement and breakdown for my microstakes cg set and I am so happy that I got to purchase everything I mapped out in my little spreadsheet of what to prioritize when the clock hit 8 pm here in germany.
Thank you so much Jim, your prices are amazing and a true testament, that you are out there not just for you, but to get us the best deal possible.
