CARDS MOLD SHOWCASE! (3 Viewers)

This fubarred the thread. If the injured party is made whole we move the fuck on. People make mistakes. Get Johnny in on this he is the guy who lost out not us (as far as I can see).

Cool? Cool? Cool!

The King has spoken may this thread be peaceful once again.

I've tagged @Johnny5 in most of these posts. But he's not on here much anymore. Besides, the issue is no longer about financial damages. It's about integrity and ethical behavior on the forum. That's why I brought it to the attention of everyone in this thread.

So when someone comes sniffing around asking questions that's who they should go to?

Moving forward when asked

I'm less inclined to forgive (but not completely closed to it) because I feel like now the only reason he is sorry is because I outed him to the whole forum. In other words, he's not sorry for what he did, he's just sorry he got caught.
I think @LeLe posting that he received the chips would likely indicate that he didn't think it was a big deal. Perhaps he really just thought it was a formality. Otherwise why post the "evidence"?

Again, not condoning him not waiting for permission/approval, just think that he wouldn't have made it so easy to get caught if he thought he was doing something wrong. *shrug*

Additional information I realised I placed my Order somewhere 21-23 Aug via Tina Paid on 24 Aug as I want to tag onto the GB but via a direct shipment to me which I pay the shipment

On 18 Aug I have message TX and I think I under the impression he is okay with using the artworks via paying a small fee which he want to prioritise other first and discuss with me later which I think it fair and I reply “Ya thx for checking LMK how much he charging for the small fee too”

I had placed the order few days after that assuming TX will charge me an amount at a later date which I frankly forget about it over the weeks to make any follow up after I make the payment and order

I told TX I tag on a GB yesterday via Tina but direct solo shipment to me which I want to check which one, and since I place the order on 21-23 Aug I am tagging on the TX #1 GB at that time

So let me get this straight. Somebody “designs” a “tribute” Aria set, which is essentially a copy of the Aria design. People on PCF for some odd reason are perfectly fine with arguably appropriating Aria’s IP. But @LeLe has the chips made without paying a fee to the “designer” of the Aria “tribute” and that’s what violates the unwritten ethical code of PCF? SMH.

I am used to do ceramics designs and if you have to create it from scratch, the thing that takes more time to do are the spots and calculating the rolling edges. And not everyone is able to do it, it requires skills in vectorial design and some maths (trigonometry).

For this set, the inlay part is very simple.

So I think the point of @TX_Golf_N_Poker is that the designer was not retributed for the technical work done, not that the design was stolen.

Hopefully it can be easily solved without a drama.

And many that work with companies in jurisdictions that don't care about IP with some specific ones known to have already ripped off other proprietary art holders on the forum? I'm not sure who is the pot and who is the kettle, but there's plenty of black to go around.

This thread needs to get back on track.

Here's my @Johnny5 designed cards mold set. The colors are based on a BCC hotstamp set I used to own (except for the bearclaw hundo). Sadly, I was dumb and sold it off and I don't even have any pictures of it anymore (back in the day I used imageshack to store photos and that shit site purged everything).

I remember those. So pretty!

Colors on batch 5 are definitely richer than the first Tina cards mold. These are much brighter in person too!

Nice gradients. Glad to see the details come through. Designing my own chips for an eventual cards mold GB and I'm trying to make them as clean and clear as possible, but I see really decent details in many chips that are being posted. Has that been an improvement since earlier GBs?
