Controversial Chip & Poker Opinions (8 Viewers)

coin in chip has a place in this world.
When done right, it has a good weight, feel, and look.
Agreed, and then some:

I couldn't disagree more on every point lol. If we all liked the same thing it'd be a boring ass place

I don't care, for clarity, I have no idea if you are complimenting, or hating on them? Lol

If you must know… I think they look blah, like all photo chips. The resolution on inlay printing just isn’t adequate, even at this size, for photos; and colors generally look washed out even when the designer cranks up the saturation.

I think photos could work occasionally if the designer really thought about the limitations of the medium. Better to do something subtle, verging on monochrome. The chips with portraits of Presidents/Generals, for example, avoid some of the pitfalls by not trying to do too much.

Not sure why yours were cited as an exception. Sorry, but you asked.

It doesn't bother me at all. We all have differing opinions. I designed them for me. I'm happy with them, actually, I love them. All is good!
