Custom artwork group buy. US/CAN CARDS MOLD (12 Viewers)

This sounds awesome. At this point, I have zero experience with artwork. What are the options of piggybacking anybody else's art? I know the Aces are a thing... I'm also aware of the creative tools, I'm just not creative when it comes to this stuff. Especially in the time frame. If I'm just being a tool or ultra lazy, call me out. Otherwise, any direction would be helpful. I'm interested in 1-1.2k
I’m with you on the art and creativity. But I downloaded the artwork from the Aces GB and got the free 7 day trial of Adobe Illustrator and was able to change the name and locations etc pretty easily.

That's a good idea! Maybe I'll give it a try aswell!

I am really excited about all the possible art that will get developed. Tracking will be sent tonight. After I get this paperwork done.

Following and very interested in these probably with the Aces artwork. Will post later with chip counts or questions.

@AnteAndy Did you edit that blue frac you showed off earlier to have fewer edge marks than the original? The AI Doc has it with 8 marks instead of 4 but I like yours better!
So the designs that you have from the original designer are the first draft versions of the chips. He later revised them but for some reason didn't save or share with us. But all you do is just remove the diagonal edgespots from the primary quarters and that's it. Make sure you remove the correct ones on the side of the chip, too.

Hi guys I ran a Group by for these buttons last year while I don’t have any spares I do have the artwork so you can get the buttons made If you want.

I’m interested in getting the artwork...I’ve been trying to teach myself illustrator and would love to see how you did these if you made it in illustrator. (I won’t steal the design...just curious about how they were made)

Hi didn’t do the design, but I got them from the designer. I can send the artwork for you to look at. Just PM me your email.

I assumed the same thing too, where I reworked the colors and designs on the Aces Tourney set, and asked their CS if they can print a sample with the colors provided, which I used only from what was available in the color wheels. They told me they couldn't use the colors since my specific colors weren't in their system for printing.
So ... where can I see the colors that are available?

And not just see the colors ... can we get the codes for each available color?

Can you check on the dimensions on the plaque, also? Pretty please?

There should be listing of dimensions on the AI Aces files for the plagues at least.
Maybe the file links and all of this info could be posted to the OP? Would be helpful to have everything in one place. I have no idea where to look for that.

Just so I'm understanding this directly, this is a ceramic chip with a printed top and bottom, however each person would like, but using the colors the manufacturer can print. Then the chips have edges that are aligned with the printing so that the effect simulates edge spots when mated up with how the image is printed. This chip comes on the card mold instead of a flat mold like you might get from another ceramic vendor. Is this all correct?

Are their minimums for the qty of each chip each person wants?

If you are sending out more samples I'd be interested in checking them out if someone around DC wants to fwd theirs to me I can take a look and then send them home.

Dave

Where are you located currently?

@justincarothers I think you're the closest can you and @Bluegrass Poker get the shipping figured out? Then message me and send it back when you're done @Bluegrass Poker
Im in US military base in Japan, still standard lower for 48 shipping rates though, doesn't count as international at the post office. Just takes a bit longer to trickle through the military mail system.

This is my understanding as well. You can supply your own full chip and “inlay” artwork or Bosco has allowed us to use all of the Aces and custom Aces artwork as well.

Yes 25 chips per design minimum.

Hi Sean I have a design and was going to get a Ceramic set from one of the vendors on here, but the price of these is ridiculously good. 30 Cent a Chip right? My Ceramic Design is not meant to be just an Inlay, but the design is going to take up the whole chip. Can can they print my design on the whole chip where it does not appear to have an recess and an inlay? Can they also do edge printing on the rolling edges? I was not planning on doing edge spots on the chip, but printing on the rolling edges with words. Will they align the printing on the chips? So if it is flipped over the designs would align. Also if I were not to use the card mold could you pm which vendor it is in Alibaba?

Thanks for your time,

The card mold has eight artistic card pairs where the outline of the cards is recessed, and a recessed outline of an inner circle. The center area for the 'inlay' is not recessed; it is the same thickness as the rest of the chip..

I think the Diamond mold is bourgeoisie. Cards mold is understated and more general symbol of gambling or the card games I played with my late grandmother.
