Here's what I'm considering cash game.
Which $20 do you guys like better? Black or Yellow?
Does it look stupid having light blue on every chip in the top option?
I don't need a $100, my games will never get that big.

I was thinking about doing these:
.05 Brown
.25 Green
1.00 Blue
2.50 Pink
5.00 Yellow
20.00 Black
100.00 White

With the Aces center but I actually have zero idea how to mate the two of them together or get them into a format that's needed.

Those hundos are sexy! The ones shared on the ai file have nothing on that version. I downloaded illustrator but even just editing I seem to do more harm than good, I'll have to keep at it a while longer.

Big fan of Sean's 100 as well!
You meant the Aces one or Sean's? Yeah originally I was gonna use that design for my cash $100 chips, but figured I'd never get them into play, and just use the design for T100's instead and use them as temp $100s if I ever only play a cash game one night and stacks got big for us.

Originally really liked his finalized Secondary T100, but changed the yellow to orange since I didn't want to have too many repeat colors in my set. And originally was gonna have a T10K but changed it to T20K in the previous image I shared.

BTW, the vendors do make samples before you place an order, but only on the flat standard chips and only a photograph. You gotta put out some money to actually get these in hand. Once you do place an order, they'll do the same thing but on the card mold chips for your approval before they print your whole order.

I prefer the yellow. Keep mostly consistency with all vibrant base colors. Use the black for your T100 chip.

PAY an art dude on here. MAYBE?

Very Nice! That's a lot of denoms tho, would u use them all?

I wanted to do a micro stakes set so .5/.10 so I think .5/.25/1.00 should be fine, but I also want to play .25/.50 so I need .25/1.00/5.00/20.00.

The 20s are really for rebuys and probably don't see a bunch of action, I'd get like 80.

I'd get like 1 barrel of 100s just to 'cap off the set. At $6.00 for the entire barrel seems fun.

The pink 2.50s is because for some reason I have an interest in doing snappers and I think having more chips on the table so less 5s and more 2.50s will get people to play a bit more.

Yup, i picked up some Cleveland snappers and was going to put them in play along with the $5's.
I guess yours is really like having two separate cash sets so it should work out fine. Love the design, simple yet it pops.

This pic showing the 3 different chips has me thinking. Has anyone asked their designer to give them edge spots with a V in them, instead of a straight line? I'd like to see something like this for my chips with one, two, or three edge spots:

Can be done, all just a matter of preference.

Edit: and time

man this is really tempting and will probably be to hard to pass up. Excited to continue seeing everyone's designs, I might grab a chip or two from each of you and add custom centers!

Well, I'm sold on my chip edge spots and colors (pending getting the color wheel codes), but now I'm torn between three designs.

RIVER RAT CASH LINEUP.jpg
FOX RUN CASH LINEUP.jpg

I think "The Nuts" looks best with a black background. I think "Fox Run" looks best with a white background. I'm not sure about "River Rat" though. Maybe it would look better with a weathered beige background.

I'll try getting the codes tonight, should have the free time and Illustrator availability then.

Thanks ... the thing I'm curious about is getting a good dark blue color. It looks like the blue Aces $0.25 chip has a dark blue that would work for me, but the blue color wheel doesn't look like any of the blues are quite that dark.

I would cast my vote for Fox Run but I like a more conservative design! I like the idea of a weathered beige background on the River Rat I would just be worried it wouldn't suit the vibrant base color and edge spots.

There's a slightly dark blue than the .25 Primary Ace chip that I used for my mock-up T20K chip, as well as the blue edgespot in my Mock-up T100 chip. Not a huge difference, but I personally preferred it where the .25's Blue edgespot was a little too dark for my to use as a base color.

Good point about the River Rat. I think you are 100% correct about that. It's out (for this project, anyway).

I also really like the Fox Run design. My neighborhood is named Fox Run, which makes it more personal, as well. But I always have that nagging thought in the back of my head that says, "what happens when you move? Fox Run won't mean as much to you at that point."

How detailed or complex an inlay design are thinking would translate effectively on these chips given the printing process?
My design (draft that I created in Avery software) is pretty complex. I'm trying to get in touch with a designer right now, so I will post up back here after he tells me what he thinks of my design.
