In terms of money-consuming hobbies, I took up sports/racing driving and poker, in my life, without having any talent in either; just love (which is enough to take you to the top 20% of the world but not any higher).
Singing, another love of mine which I 'm interestingly good at, was not adopted early enough, so I never made any money
