Btw…this stuff isn’t Bama at all, but it’s super good. Why don’t you Delmarva folks talk about this more? It’s good on corn, too.
Our first BBQ of the season. Burgers for my son and the wife and I shared some ribeye and shrimp. The chicken my wife wanted something she could bring for lunch at work and it will be my lunch tomorrow also. The sweet potato’s and corn were the sides.

I knew that - though I would recommend pork jowl if you are just looking for flavoring. Can be cut and frozen in serving sizes (one Ziplock bag, spread out or separated by parchment paper until frozen to prevent sticking together). Much cheaper, does not have potentially unwanted flavors (like maple syrup), and is less likely to burn.It’s seasoning
The real reason was I forgot to bring butter to the cabin and needed some sort of fat to roast the veggies.
