Looks like the snapper and the purple frac are on the chopping block. I won't call them dead yet, but not looking good :)
If we lose the snapper, that's $175 in fees we don't have to pay.

My apologies :) Honestly, yes I do. There should be a new spread sheet posted within minutes of every order placed in this thread ;)
Mel's not paying me enough for that level of service. :p

I assumed that in my calc. What I didn't factor is if they ding us for not making individual chip minimums. Unlikely but possible...

With the price per chip coming down I'm revising up to 1425 chips.

205 x $0.25 (neon orange)
0 x $0.25 (green)

Edit to add: According to my calculation using the freight cost above and if Matsui give the $175 per demon art fee (for 6 denoms) then we're currently at $1.39 per chip excluding the last leg of shipping to you.

Looks like there are a few denominations that might not get made.

100 white

20 black

pink fracs

purple fracs

and the snappers.

If the white 100's don't get made I might have to go with the black 100's and hope their not to close to the purple base 25's.

That's a shame, i think it is the best chip of the lineup, can't we substitute the black $20 with it ?

Judging by the last GBs, there will be a flurry of orders in the last day/hours.

Someone better check my maths and make sure I haven't missed anything!

Looking pretty good! Just one note -- people will pay for the chips they order (2-color vs. 3-color), but all fees will be spread out on a per-chip basis.
Does that make sense? But yes, looks like we should be under $1.40/chip, all-in. Sweet! And hopefully the freight will be less than that. Could be in the $1.35/chip territory all in.

Minimum 500 chips for the pink frac and snapper, Mel?

I'd appreciate some input if you guys don't mind:

So we currently play a mix of limit games and nl/PL games. Pretty evenly split between those 2. Limit games are $1/$2 and nl/PL are .25/.50 blinds often with a straddle. My current breakdown:

100 x .25
200 x 1
300 x 5
80 x 25
20 x 100

If I were to add on a rack (or 2 :sneaky:), how would you break it down? Do I need to add a rack at all? A few of my thoughts:

1. I'd like to have enough ones in stacks that we can make limit bets without having to make change too often--either in or between hands--BUT I also don't want too many ones on the table that it becomes cumbersome counting out big nl/pl pots.

2. I hope to eventually raise the stakes to $3/$6 limit and .50/1 nl/pl.

Curious what you guys think.

Make it an even 1000. Add a rack of $1 and two racks of $5.

I prefer 120-160 fracs and 240-260 $1s, so I'd split the extra rack over those two denominations. Ymmv.

For a 3/6 limit game, I'd want at least 900 $1s and a rack of $20s.

Thanks. I have a big limit set for just limit. I'm only concerned here about a set that functions for a mixture of limit and nl games.

@BGinGA for a 200 chip travel set, .25/.25 with $20 buy in for 5-6 players, what would you recommend? For example, I'm toying with 60/80/60 or 60/60/60/20 with 12/12/1 or 8/8/2 starting stacks.

For starters, I'd recommend using a 300-chip set for 5 players (50/100/100/50 or 60/100/100/40), and something larger (360+) for 6-handed play.

A properly-configured 200-chip really is only capable of adequately supporting 3 players, maybe barely stretching to cover 4 in a pinch. Small sets with only three denominations might work for short sessions (3-4 hours), but the longer it goes, the more likely that additional chips will be required.
