I've never liked Tapatalk...

Now that I've used the new site on both mobile and compy web, I gotta say I'm both happy with the new look and not impeded by the transition.

Am kinda impressed that you even managed to keep our individuals posts read/unread settings.

Well, done!

Tapatalk is great for live posting of photos from games. Otherwise, a good mobile-friendly interface will probably do better - gotta try it out after my phone charges.

It's looking great Tommy!

As jbutler pointed out, the site looks great on a mobile browser!

The only thing I couldn't figure out is how to manage our "classified" threads. Couldn't find a way to "close" the threads so to speak, if sold or bought or traded. It would be great to have a way to find our own threads or the only solution is to either go page by page on the classified section or page by page on our content section.

Again, smooth transaction for sure... Thanks for being on top of everything T-!

Alright my panties are NOT in a bunch!! The new site format looks great Tommy. I am so frickin excited to still have a chip forum I enjoy visiting for more than just the classifieds. Thank you for all your hard work. It is much appreciated.

I also want to pile on the thanks. Your frustrations and sacrifices of sleep do not go unappreciated. There are things I liked about the old site better, but I will easily adapt. I like that you are keeping an eye on the future. If the old site crashed and was no longer going to be supported, you (and all of us) would be SOL. This adjustment, like going up a pant size, isn't welcomed - but in the long run it's better than trying to make something work that obviously won't.

Well said. And well done, Tommy!

Thanks everyone. :)

The view your posts and threads quick links was a mod for the old site. This software has it built in but not easy to find.
I have no idea why that text is green either. I will need to fix that. :) I will looked into the thread management for the classifieds.

Just a heads up: Poker Design Tool no longer links to a holding page.

The tool will actually be hosted separately so that tab will be a direct link to it. Putting it in an iframe would interfere with some of its cool features. It should be ready by the end of the month if all goes well. :)

I don't know the "official" word for the text below the avatar, But it currently reads:

Poker Zombie
Straight

I am concerned that if I explore one too many threads, it will read:
Poker Zombie
Bi

...and if I decide to quit reading one thread, and instead read another, it will read:
Poker Zombie
Transthreader

I'm working on the thread prefixes for the forums that have them. I'm testing different styles so that is why they all look different.

Just a tip: You can click on the thread prefixes to sort them. A filter will show just above. Close it to return to normal. Plus that gray bar above each column is clickable for sorting too.

That blue dot in the image above means something too. Hover over it and it will tell you.

It's a link to go to first unread post which is the same as clicking the bold thread title. (basically an indicator in case the thread titles weren't styled to be bold to indicated that also) The blue button to the far right (an image from old site for memories :D) will take to you the last post in the thread same as clicking the time stamp to the left of it.

If you do click the button or link that takes you to the last post (not last unread post) you still of an option to quickly go to the last unread post.

I found my posts/threads by hovering over my user name (in the upper right corner) and clicking on "Your Content".

Cool. That looks like your threads and posts all in one. On the old site you could choose "view your threads (in this forum only)" and "view your post (in this forum only)" I will look into adding that back.

Nice job on the transition. The change is not as painful as I thought it might be other than pcf withdrawals for a day.

how long are edits allowed on the new platform? found a typo in a post and went to correct myself and was shut out :(

20,160 minutes :D (for 10+ post members). Some forums have exceptions and are much longer.

Can first posts be made to be able to edit after a longer time? Sample set threads or meet up threads the OP is usually constantly getting updated.

Already done. [emoji3]

Interesting...a new option ("spy") just popped onto the banner next to the New Posts option. You spyin' on us, Tommy? ;)

Just tried it...appears to be a real-time feed of posts.

Just installed it. Was a surprise for Mr Tree's meetup. o_O
