It really only seats 8. The four players located at the table support spots must stand.

This is obviously a dude who dates women that like poker. He thought he was doing something nice by making them a table. Every woman he dated and made a table for saw this monstrosity and dumped him on the spot. Now he is swearing off women not realizing that it's actually those tables that got him dumped.

This has me convinced that Michigan Rummy players cannot build a table.
