Another one near me. It’s a buyer’s market, I tell you!

Guy 1: “I just built a great poker table!”
Guy 2: “What are you talking about? That table is absolutely terrible for poker!”
Guy 1: “But, looky here— I painted the suit symbols on it!“
Guy 2: “WOWEE!! I take it back! That’s the greatest poker table ever! I bet people won’t even notice the chips and cards that fell down the holes in the middle of the table. I bet we could sell that for $125!”

The four smaller outer circles is either where it mounts to the base or where the two layers become one, I believe. The larger circle tells me it used to be a cable spindle of some sort. Not sure about the smile, but all these together, despite the suits painted on the surface, make this unplayable.

It might not make a bad surface to pad and felt, tho.

This was a cable real, well half of it.. They make great tables, for the SHOP, but definitely not POKER tables...

If it's two layers, it could easily be cut into a rail playing surface. 42" is a good size. My only hesitation would be the holes and valleys between board, but those could be filled and fixed.

Huge missed opportunity here, IMO.

When I was a kid, we used to walk on those cable spools in PE class as a balancing exercise.

Now I can play poker on one! [cue nostalgic music]

Don’t know if this counts as “fuggly” but it’s definitely the most disgustingly dirt table I’ve ever saw. According to the seller it’s very usable with “some” wear. It looks like it was used in the break room of an auto repair shop.

"Perfect for those Slobish Rounders that always show up."

If my friends were that dirty, I'd get new friends.
